View Full Version : Do we need team sub-forums?

Ok, I seem to be the only one who is sick of there being 11 bronco thread popping up each week. Now Jags, Colts, Jets, Pats, Falcons, Lions, and I'm sure a few other teams have random members making reaction threads to each game each week.

The simple question is whether we need a sub-formum (maybe with its own sub-forum) for each team to discuss their team. I think this idea has been shot down a few times, but the main forums have really started to get whitewashed and sucky from the team opinion threads.. It's almost at the level of annoyance that the "Lions don't want Matt Stafford" threads were at...

The mods have plenty of power. The issue is more of exercising it, which is something that the mods and Ms. Alice need to work out.

What would more power get the mods, because all you can really do with a repeated thread is close it (which I thought you all could do anyways)..

Also, I think Wraith has a point as to the Mods figuring out some stuff with "ms. Alice"

I have no idea who all of the mods are, especially because:

Bills_Red got banned for hatting on Matt
Matt quit because he got hated on by Arhyme(who is still here)

Is Starqb still here after his poll fiasco?

49ersfan is a mod who hasn't had a post since April and hasn't signed on since July

NNC is so random in his Mod'ing (definitely not a complaint)

Did I miss anything?

Edit: Side note, why are there 4 subthread all involving the eliminator contest?

i dont see the need, i like the idea of each team having a thread like the Chicago Bears one, its just some idiots who post a new thread about their team every minute thats ruining it

Yeah it seems Walt only posts in threads started by newbies and ones he created. NNC and starQB14 are barley on anymore

Do you all remember back in the day when we had that Travaris Jackson/Kermit the Frog poll problem which resulted in this very Poll Center?

Thats exactly what gonna happen with this bull****.

Walt's gonna set up a forum for team threads and presumably every team is going to get a new one or have the existing one transferred there and then probably besides that lame ass Bears thread that keeps reappearing, all the threads in this forum will be as active as the polls in this Poll Center.

So just calm down, we all know all these team threads are bull****, but I just predicted exactly what will happen.
