I got the Wii for Christmas and have been playing it non-stop ever since. This system is so addicting and great for big groups. Anyone else have the wii?

Don't have one, but played one at my cousins house at Christmas. I originally thought it looked like something a 6 year old would play, but its surprisingly addictive. The Tennis on Wii Sports was awesome.

I don't have one but my roommate does it is SO much more fun than I thought it would be. I remember before the XBOX 360, PS3, and Wii was coming out I was thinking hmm XBOX 360 or PS3 because I thought the Wii was too much for little kids, but I was wrong. Its more fun than the other 2 systems cheaper too

I have the game that game with the systems (all the sports) and Mario Galaxy Matt, it's a great system for me :) I really haven't even looked at other games avaliable but I saw they are coming out with that new Wii pad

Smash Brothers Brawl is totally sexy, dude. Wii Sports is fun too.

I'm going to get one when my summer job starts up. Until then, I've sort of got a limited supply to cash to last me, so I can't blow it on fun stuff.

Ditto. My roommate has one. Every time a new game comes out for it (Brawl, Kart, etc), he plays it for a couple days, but then it sits on the shelf unused for another month, til another hyped game comes out.

Everyone was all excited for the Wii, but to me it's a boring gimmick.

I've got a Wii. Good console particularly the Tennis games (Top Spin and Wii Sports). Soccer games also are very good.


Wii Fit is ok. Nothing that interesting really.

Yeah, I know what you mean. When I was in high school and the early years of college (pre-21), I used to play for hours. Now, I only do when I'm hung over and don't have the energy to do anything else.

Mario Strikers Charged is a super kick-ass game. How can you not love a soccer game where you beat the **** out of each other and nail each other with turtle-shells. very fun 2v2 game

Wii = very boring after 3 months.

I had this last year and sold it after about 3 months. It was all I did for 1 month. Then my friends didn't come over as much so I didn't play as much. Then I realized I want to sit on a couch and do nothing when playing videogames, not exercise. Then I sold it and got a PS3.

VC is terrible... the only game I'm considering getting for it is Secret of Mana. I wish they'd translate Fire Emblem 4 and 5 and put it on VC. I'd pay 25-30 for that.

The Wii is the cats pajamas, Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, virtual console, wiiware. I just played SuperMetroid and Madden 09 on the same console, what could be better than that?

Overrated system that people bought into the hype and regret it after they get one. For the record I have all three systems. The Wii would collect dust if not for my 3 kids.

Overall, the software selection on the Wii is weak (I'm a 24 year old Nintendo Fanboy...)

There are good games on it for every genre, but some have more than others. There are good AAA titles, but quite frankly, the PS3 and Xbox 360 have way more.

If you like party games, the Wii has everything you could want and then some.

If you like SP or online MP, then you are probably better off with a PS360. There are rare exceptions (like if you are a Nintendo fanboy, but even I've gotten sick of the stuff Nintendo is trying to make now... Metroid Prime 3 is a great game, but WiiMusic is a joke.)

edit: I own a 360 as well. I would not recommend owning just a Wii unless you are under 7 with a budget.

I've never played as the Dolphins. Have ever done a fantasy draft in franchise mode? After a few years you will go bankrupt no matter what.

I love Tiger Woods 10. And Grand Slam Tennis. And Virtua Tennis. But, I mostly use my Wii for lazy internet browsing. Nothing better than laying undercover and reading walterfootball.com/forum by wagging a white vibrator at the TV.
