No way Kobe is better than LeBron now (last year I said opposite). LBJ is head and shoulders by far the best player on the planet.

Granger should be higher on the list. No John Wall? ;)

The difference to me is Kobe's defense (yes, LeBron has closed the gap a little), and that turn-around jumper - the best weapon in basketball.

I actually dropped Granger after watching both Sixers/Pacers games. He doesn't drive nearly as much as he used to, he's more content to just be a jump-shooter. Great young player though, and the case can be made.

I'm in love with your boy John Wall. He runs a pick and roll like an NBA veteran. His basketball IQ is through the roof

Granger is hurt too much. He also plays on one of the worst teams in the league so that doesn't help when he is one of 3 good players.

There's 2 more?

Roy Hibbert and Mike Dunleavy when healthy. Jim O'Brien doesn't like to play them. Hibbert would be a monster if he had someone with an IQ above 10 as head coach.

This organization is a steaming pile of crap.

Sixers had Jim O'Brien for 1 year, so I know what you mean. Somebody told him once that 3 pointers are worth more than 2, and he ran with it.

Hibbert's range impressed me, it was very unexpected.

O'Brien went with a small lineup against the Lakers last night. Troy Murphy was playing center against their two 7 footers. Needless to say, everyone hates him besides Larry Bird, the only guy who could do something about it.

Crazy that Bynum scores a career high huh?

I know Wall like the back of my hand. On-ball defense is a joke. Last few games he has gone invisible to be honest.

Still - best PG prospect I have ever seen - will be a star in the league. He doesn't utilize his pull up jumper enough - absolutely deadly.

You would take Rondo over Parker? I know he's hurt now.

I'd probaby rank Parker slightly ahead of Rondo, they're such similar players. Completely forgot about him, he just slipped through the cracks.

Good call

Pretty good list. I would put LeBron over Kobe right now. I think he's passed him.

I would take Rondo over Parker to tell you the truth. Not only younger, but quite possibly the best defensive PG in the NBA right now.

It's a shame that Howard is only #9. The guy should be Top 3 by now with his athleticism and size, but he just seems to have that happy go-lucky attitude that will keep him from reaching his full potential.

Good list, I'd probably put Derrick Rose higher. He has a jumpshot now so all he has to work on now is getting better defensively.

He is pretty much a mini-LeBron. He can get to the basket anytime he wants.

LeBron and Kobe are so close right now.

I wonder how good Durant is going to be in 2-3 years. He is an absolute force on offense.

I think Durant will lead the league in scoring every single season for most of his career. Depending on what he develops into defensively, he could end up being an even better player than LeBron.

I don't know if people realize just how good Tim Duncan is. He sacrifices scoring for the sake of the team and is a force on defense. He's still the best in the business at backing his man down and hitting a turnaround jumpshot. Same with Chauncey Billups and KG, its not all about stats.

Al Harrington is absolute trash. Plays no defense, is out of shape, and takes way too many horrible shots. I wouldn't put him in my top 50

I just can't put LeBron over Kobe yet. His fadeaway/turnaround jumper is a DAGGER, and is enough of a game-changer to give him the top spot. LeBron doesn't have that in his arsenal, at least not anywhere close to Kobe's consistency. That's what made MJ so great as he got older.

Plus he's a lockdown defender, and maybe the best on-ball defender in the league.

tbod, I like the inclusion of Gerald Wallace. He's really taken his game to a new level this year. I give all the credit in the world to Larry Brown.

The original list is pretty good...just to nitpick, I'd move Paul Pierce up a few spots, at least flip-flop w/Rondo. But like I said, just nit-picking.
