Camby to the Blazers

Los Angeles Clippers center Marcus Camby(notes) unknowingly attended his own farewell dinner on Monday night.

The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired Camby from the Clippers.

The deal was completed Tuesday morning.

The trade proposal, which was first reported by Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, sends Camby to Portland in exchange for forward Travis Outlaw(notes), guard Steve Blake(notes) and $3 million.

I think this is a great trade for both teams.
The question is..... will the Clippers ever be good?

GREAT trade for Portland. I guess it will work out for the Clips with roughly $8 million in expiring contracts, but who knows if Donald Sterling is going to spend?

Portland doesn't really need Steve Blake, Andre Miller is the most underrated PG in the game. Travis Outlaw is just a depth player at this point with the emergence of Martell Webster

Solid trade for Blazers

Webster has been a stud for Portland thats for sure. I still think Outlaw is a solid player and can do something with more playing time for the Clippers but they are just cleaning house right now since all their big name signings have been busts
