The Browns are getting robbed

It adds up to Anderson and kelly for the 28 or 29th pick in round 1. So its seems fair, anderson for a late first.

^With that said i'm still not gonna vote though.

The main part seems fair but what about the 4 picks the Dolphins are getting from the browns

I haven't decided IF I am going to vote yet (since I am involved in the trade), but if I do, you'll know how I'll vote.

My take on it is:

When I was approached by JP with this offer (which was excactly the offer you are voting on) my first thought was, as a lot of you say, that it seems like Browns are getting the short end of the stick. So at first I replied: "I need to think about it". This mostly considering the fact that Browns at least would be asking a first-rounder for Anderson.

But when I started thinking about: Number 32 is a first round pick every year but this. So the trade is really Anderson for a firstrounder and a bunch of pick and a NT in exchange for late 2nd-rounder.

Still though, don't know if I should vote or not.

I'm gonna change my mind and actually vote, I voted yes. Nice trade. Anderson is gonna realize reall quick that there aint no Braylon Edwards, Kellen Winslow jr or a great o-line real quick!

Sorry, not Bears, Browns of course. Cl...Br... or Ch... Be... Can start to look similar when you have been awake for 16 hours and are not getting enough sleep since americans can't adjust their sport broadcasts to fit a european time zone ;)

No...any Team Must Give Up A First And Third For Anderson!!!! Period!!!!

Cleveland will tender Anderson for a 1st and 3rd. That is the only deal available this trade better not go through.

Also it is a dumb trade anyways. Miami needs much more help than at QB. Their defense is garbage the #1 pick won't help that.

Getting robbed...no. I dont need a lot. I need 3 impact players and kept my two 6ths to do the depth. Too many picks wont do me any good. the starters I would replace make very good backups. That takes care of two problems at once. Looking at it from the outside looks like robbery but it is not from a team stampoint.

Flatly I dont want the 7. Or the others I put in there for that matter.

Matt, They havent tendered him and I wont because I need 3 good players. Not 1 great one and one decent one. You turn it down then we will go back, make two deals and the picks will change hands anyway. So it will get done Matt. Just depends how we want to do it.

Phil Savage already said he will tender him at a first and third to many sources. I've read it everywhere.

Joey_Potter

He will, but until he does it is only speculation. Last I heard, you cant trade speculation. And until he does, i get anything I can for him before that happens. With 3 2nds I could put the Browns in the Playoffs as contenders. Im not as closed to that idea and I play with what I have to work with. If you want to trade speculation with the highest tender go ahead. I dont.

Yeah, well it was also "speculation" that McFadden would enter the NFL Draft.

Why wouldn't Savage tender Anderson as high as possible? I think he will and no team will bite.

I too think Cleveland got completely robbed, 2 2nd-round picks aren't worth Anderson, Kelly, and 4 draft picks. I think Anderson for the two picks is fair by itself. In addition, the Dolphins drafted John Beck last year with a high draft pick.

You people dont get it. I DONT WANT THOSE EXTRA PICKS! Why do I want to draft people I will just turn around and cut.

Yeah why would you want to bring some players into camp that could possibly turn into Pro Bowlers someday? Its just stupid isn't it?

I voted no due to it appears to be a lopsided trade.

Also, Anderson alone being a RFA is worth a 1st & 3rd.

I dont see Matt's argument, just because Cleveland gives him a first and third tender doesn't mean they have to trade him or his rights before that tender for a first and third.

And besides who cares, there have been ridiculous trades like this before. Ricky Williams and Eli Manning deals come to mind.

Anderson is going to have a 1st and 3rd pick tender on him. I can't vote yes to this.

I can make this team a Playoff Contender with THREE count them 1, 2, 3 second round picks. Besides anyone who watched Anderson in the second half of the season closely and knows how he performed (which the stats in the last 8 games back) know why I am so willing to trade him. Will he improve under the right QB Coach. Absolutely. However I dont think Cleveland is the place it will happen. Look at those stats and then tell me he isnt worth 3 seconds. As for the others...I will get what is needed with 3 seconds and 2 sixths.

I think the question is whether any team would be willing to give up a 1st and 3rd for Anderson. My guess is no. In light of this, the Browns get a great deal for him.

However, If I'm Miami I like the idea of having all of those high picks in a deep draft and I have John Beck. Miami won't fix everything in one year so they need new young talent to build on. Anderson doesn't solve their problems.

I am hoping that Miami trades down from the top to get a couple extra picks in the first day. Nothing else besides that seems like the optimal result for them, especially in this deep draft.

Sorry to spoil the fun but I'm gonna have to vote no.

I am trying, but there does not seem to be anyone interested.

I'm sure you have. I'd be happy with 3 picks on day one. I wish I had that.
