Outside of Sam Bradford....Who has the best chance to win a starting job

I'm going with John Skelton in AZ....I really think he could beat out Leinart, not too sure about Anderson

I didn't include rookies on teams with obv QB situation (Robinson, Crompton SD, LeFevour- Chi)

Do you mean in week 1, or at some point during the year?

Levi Brown once Buffalo's other three quarterbacks get hurt or play themselves out of the line-up.

Why not, Kolb is no where near the status of a concrete QB situation like other teams that drafted QB's Brees, Brady, Rivers and Cutler

Kolb has some high expectations, I won't be ignorant because i haven't watched him play much but do Philly fans really think hes going to come in a tear it up right away?

Kolb's leash is 17 weeks long, but even if he implodes the job goes to Vick. If Vick is gone, then I'd look for the team to acquire A.J. Feeley or Jeff Garcia before handing it to Kafka

What I don't get is what has Kolb done to warrant a 17 week leash? Not trying to be a dick but don't catch many philly games

I liked Kafka coming out of college, i don't know how's he has done in mimi camp though....Where do you see him 3rd string? Practice Squad? you don't think there is a chance he wins the backup over vick?

This transition has been planned for a very long time and this kid is the franchise QB as far as the brass is concerned. The reason McNabb was traded wasn't McNabb, it was Kolb.

Even if he wasn't the heir apparent, you really think Andy Reid's gonna go "we just GOTTA see what this Mike Kafka kid can do!" if Kolb struggles? With Vick on the team, Kafka has a 0% chance of anything above 3rd string.

The Eagles thought they would be better off trading McNabb and starting Kolb. That's a pretty strong endorsement coming from one of the best run franchises in the NFL.

Tebow and McCoy are the two most likely to start because of who is above them on the depth chart. I think McCoy will end up starting first.

I'll go with Clausen. I don't think McCoy has the physical skills to play as a rookie, and Denver would be better off sticking a gorilla behind center than Tebow - he'd get eaten alive

It comes down to Clausen or Skelton for me. I will have to go with Clausen since it is reported that Skelton isnt getting many reps so far this preseason.

Wasn't the rumor goin around that McCoy isn't going to see any playing time this season? Or am I just making that up in my head?

Also cutty nailed it about Kolb.

McCoy reportedly got very few reps at OTAs and minicamp. It's still early, but the team isn't treating him like a guy getting ready to play in 2010.

Tebow will be starting by October. Bank on it.

There's no way they send him out to the wolves. He's too far away, physically and mentally, and the poor supporting cast would allow defenses to tee off on him

I want McCoy to do well, I hope they red-shirt him this year. I would love to see him get 2 years to develop and Cleveland to improve and then him succeed.

My guess is Tebow. I think McD will want to get him some experience at the end of the year once they are eliminated from the playoff hunt.

You know Cicero, I wasn't too high on Clausen and I wasn't high or low on Tebow. I realistically saw the pros/cons on both. When the Broncos drafted Tebow, I saw my future. I guess I'm hoping he succeeds for my fandom sake. If they start him, I guess I will have to deal.

I don't see Orton coming back under any circumstances after this season, so if they get eliminated (which I believe they will) it would make a ton of sense to get Tebow some game experience right? My vote was between Tebow and Clausen but I think Moore will do well enough to hold down the starting spot for the year and they really need to see what they have with him since he'll be a UFA next year.

When Orton struggles and the Broncos are like 4-4 at best, I think McDaniels makes the move. He's a smart man and not afraid to make tough decisions, like the man he learned from.

Let's not forget the business aspect either. There's pressure to put Tebow on the field. He makes everyone money.

When it was obvious that Orton completely beat out Quinn, I knew what would happen. Orton will start this year until they are completely out and then Tebow may start. He will be the 2nd string, none-the-less and Quinn will be 3rd string.

Cicero nailed it. Tebow will definitely play. He is hte #2 and when they get eliminated or beat down, why not start him. Clausen, I'm not banking on it. It's Matt Moore's team this year.

Oh and Cutty nailed it on Kolb as said.

No way that will happen. I would bet a case of beer on that.....well at least a 12er. Clausen has the best chance in a competition. The rest would need the starters to get injured or suspended.
