Ethan Kelley is a free agent; cannot be traded.
How are you going to trade Derek Anderson anyway? If the Browns tender him, a team can just give up a No. 1 and No. 3 for him. If not, he becomes a free agent and walks.

Yet you didnt think of mentioning that when the first trade was proposed? Sick irony huh.

I didn't look up Ethan Kelley's free agency status. I should have, but I thought you guys would have done that yourselves.

The trade process is a joke. Why should everyone else deternmine your trade? All should go through unless the DRAFT COMMISSIONER objects. One person makes it a quick and easy process with no chance of people ignorant to what the other GM's that make the trade are trying to do to interfere. Im just going to daft for my team and ignore the trades.

O wait you're not trading anymore. Too bad.

To an extent I agree with him, there should not be polls for trades, there should just be one person approving the trades and thats it.

So many trades would never happen and Bill Red just about got away with robbery (Andrew Whitworth from the Bengals) if it wasn't for me.
Look, polls don't happen in real NFL trades, but only because the franchises know what they are doing and they know how to extract max value. Look at the Trent Green saga last year. Kansas City didn't budge and demanded a 5th round pick for Green while the Dolphins kept offering a 6th round pick which the Chiefs never accpeted.
A sense of realism must be maintained through trades. It won't happen in the mock (pick trades will not be approved during the forum mock) so you have nothing to worry about once the it starts.

Doesnt matter. The trade process Matt, to use your words, "Is a Joke". Ill do the draft because that part cant be screwed up with a poll that says "Should we allow this pick". At least that part has no flaws...yet.

If they tender him he get a 1 year deal, ie M.Tunner last year.

 we can't move up or down in the draft?

Oh no of course you can...I was just saying that those pick trades can not be overturned. You make a trade with someone you make a trade.

Do you really think Derek Anderson is that good? Am I just being a hater or does he have skills?

Yes we screwed up with not noticing the Kelley is FA. But what the heck, we gave people a chance to have a whole week of yelling and screaming, isn't that great? ;););)

Isn't the first draft we are doing, I'd assume by the end of the week, just like a warm-up until the real draft? I've made a couple trades (gave away all my late round picks for defensive depth), but when we do the real draft in April, I will not be making a lot of trades, only trades that are of high value.

The Browns are going to ask for a 1st and a 3rd for Derek Anderson. Two seconds realistically never would happen.
If you want me to decide Yay or Nay for a trade, I'll decide - This trade would never happen.
A first and a third I could see.

You think any intelligent GM would give a first and third for Anderson without being fired before Anderson is good enough to make an impact on a team with average or Below Average recievers? I dont think so. His recievers made him look good. He was off target more times than not but passes were caught because the recievers were so good. It is a wonder more recievers weren't hurt. Great backup, nothing more at this point in his career. Maybe in a year or 2 he'll be worth a 1st and 3rd pick, but not right now.

Guys, if you want something to go down without a hitch (player is a free agent, trade is unrealistic) you have to do it yourself. Walter can't do everything.

If you people havent listened to me complain about the trading system by now it doesnt matter what I think anyway. So why do I care?

I think that a good conclusion is that this trading thing got way out of hand.

I tried to warn everybody about trading. It’s all done in good faith but the reality of how few trades there are in football and a fan’s desire to fill every hole in their roster is too much conflict.

There shouldn't be 20+ people deciding on a trade. All that gonna do is bring agruments and that's what happened.

I think another problem with the voting is that the people involved in the trade get insulted. I understand why, it could be taken as people saying you’re making a ‘stupid’ trade. That will cause some arguments, because the fan knows the team much more and he’s being told it’s a bad trade. However, it’s usually a case of the trade being unlikely to happen than it being a bad trade.
You are all smart people, you will figure something out.
