I don't think we necessarily have to poll some ram fans. I think this #2 picks comes down to one of two prospects. Either Chirs Long DE Virginia or Jake Long OT Michigan. For me what it comes down to is how much do the rams think Orlando Pace has left in the tank. Jake Long is a very good tackle but you don't pay top 5 overall money for someone to play non-blindside OT.

I realize it doesn't look right, but with Dimitroff, he is likely to bring in a 3-4 coach or Rex Ryan who would use Gholston's versatility to our advantage. This would be our best pick for defensive versatility and would allow us to run multiple looks. In a 3-4 our linebackers would be Abraham, Brooking, Boley and Gholston. in a 4-3 it would be Brooking Gholston, Boley.

Gholston is a 4-3 MLB IMO. he reminds me much of David Pollack, and I always thought Pollack should have been a MLB. have Gholston lose weight to be around 245, and I think he woudl be a beast. He has all the physical tools and seems to have good instincts, just would need to adjust. but it's not strict 3-4 it's a hybrid assuming that Rex Ryan is the HC.

The Oakland Raiders select Darren Mcfadden. Oakland, while 6th in the league in rushing, is in the dire need of more play-makers on offense, players who have game-breaking ability with the ball in their hands. With a franchise QB in Russel they need someone who is going to take the pressure off of him. And even though Oakland had a horrendous Defense, they need more explosive players on offense and Mcfadden is the guy.

Croyle sucks. He makes bad decisions and he thinks he is Brett Favre when he is on the field. Thats all im gonna say about him. IMO Ryan has a lower celing than Brohm and is a step below him right now in being ready for the NFL. Woodson has the most potential but he is a couple years from being ready for the NFL. I was going to take Malcom Jenkins until he decided to stay at OSU. When he decided to stay I set my mind on a QB and in the end on Brian Brohm.

I think you are drafting a franchise QB with no offensive line. It's a recipe for a bust quarterback...I mean the draft isn't over you can draft OL in round 2, but Croyle is a capable starter for one season.

I mean look at what Cleveland is dealing with now after giving up on Derek Anderson. At least they got Thomas though when they had a chance to draft a franchise LT.
