I usually play openside flanker/centre (nothing like a football center), as well as placekicker (in rugby). In your speak that would translate approximately to slot receiver on offense or safety on defese.

Played a little bit of LB in my day, but I'm moving to Safety in college.
6'2", 215-225 and running a consistent 4.42 I highly doubt I get red shirted, and I hope to start at least 3 of my 4 years (DII). My biggest strength is my ability to take it to the house after an INT and my biggest weakness is I'm really injury prone. Left knee sprained twice and left shoulder torn twice and dislocated once. One concussion. And that was just in highschool lol.

Being 6'4" and no other real strength in football other than a slingshot for an arm I played QB. Unfortunately, I started the game WAYYYY too late to have any real understanding of the intricacies of an offense to be able to effectively play the position. During my end of year football awards banquet I got called up, along with everybody else on the team that got a letter, to receive it and while walking up to the podium to meet up with the coach he announced that I was the only guy he's ever seen throw a ball 80 yards in the air. While walking up there I said loud enough for the audience to get the accurate picture "too bad it was on a 10-yard out pattern." That pretty much epitomized my football career. After h.s. I focused primarily on pitching in baseball.

I was primarily a run stopping DT. I registered a few sacks here and there, but stuffing the run was what I was best at. I'm about as agile as a pregnant cow, so I relied on my half a thimblefull of natural athletic ability and my ox-like freakish brute strength to get the job done.
The greatest compliment ever paid to me came from a good friend that was an absolute workout fiend, and was in the best shape of anybody I've ever known. He said "I'm strong, but Bluto is powerful. I'll take that over being strong any day of the week. For example, I might be able to bench press 300lbs, but Bluto will pick it up, walk around with it, go about his daily activities with it, then toss it aside when he got bored with it."

Guard and Defensive End in HS at 165 pounds.
At my high school if you were white, you played on the line, if you were anything else you played the skill positions. I personally loved playing on the line and blocking some guys double my size. However, I didn't enjoy the times I got taken to the woodshed by Eric Hicks(former KC DE).

I can play all 5 spots on the OL and all three spots on the DL (3-5-3) and LS for both FG and punt. Haven't played center since the beinning of my sophomore year but I could still do it. I mainly play LT and love playing tackle because I'm a much better pass blocker than I am a run blocker.

Free Safety and Corner all 4 years Varsity. I played some WR and TE before that but didn't really like the offensive side of the game. Always found scoring TDs a bit mundane. Tackling, hitting people, forcing fumbles, and better yet picking off a pass and scoring a TD was what I looked forward to.
Ronnie Lott and Deion Sanders were my favorite players when I was kid despite not being Fins. I was a bit emo when Sean Taylor died, I don't think I smiled for a month after that

In HS I played both DB/WR, and man do I miss it. Broke my collar bone playing backyard with some friends so I don't even play that anymore. WR sucked considering how rarely out school threw the ball.
I liked headhunting as a safety more than running around at CB, sweeps were brutal.

I get together with friends every other sunday for some flag football. I make some pretty good grabs at WR, usually, though i'm not amazing. On the other side, it's the same deal - I'm alright but can get burned, haha.
In hindsight, I woulda liked to play in HS, but I just didn't really get into football until I got to college. =\

I finally found my position. I am the SS now :)
I was tried at WR , RB , CB but at the end SS is just my position.
At WR i was bored because we rarely throw the ball. at RB i had to split carries with to many guys and i am kinda to light for running through the middle... ( I am 5'10" and weigh 160lb.) And I liked CB and was good ( Over the last 3 games i played at CB I had 12 Tackles , 4 PD's and 1 INT) , but I went to SS after the starter went down and well since 1 month I own it. He got moved to LB because he was kinda to slow for SS anyways.
Since over here we play the whole year and have bunch of scrimmage games we had 2 games the last 2 weeks.
I dont think that 10 Tackles, 1 FF and 1 INT are that bad.
These stats might sounds good but we play against teams that would get killed in american. One cant compare american football in germany with af in the usa

Yeah, piggybacking off of that, if I played now it would be possession WR or QB. If I bulked up a bit TE would be an option. Actually I would need to bulk up regardless.

last time i played i was barely 5'10 and 160 pounds and right now i am nearly 5'11 and about 180 lb but still gaining ( i m hitting the weightroom 4 times a week )...
last time i played some cb with ss and while i had sucess and it was fun, i think I m gonna try my luck at LB this year..... 180 sounds light but over here in the low league i ll play the o line is 260 at most ..... ect.... but if lb doesnt work out i m either gonna try RB or move back to SS

I played peewee football until I was in 6th grade. I was always a DT/OT and one of the biggest kids on the team. When I quit playing I was 12 years old, 5'7" 160. I'm gonna start playing again next year though (sophomore year), been spending time with the coaches in the weightroom and whatnot. I'm 16 years old and 5'11" 130 now and they're going to make me a CB. I'm so pumped. I've always wanted to be a corner but I never played it in organized football before. Its really cool how they're having the top varsity corner tutor me though.

I never got a chance to play organized football until i was a freshman, and I didn't know I had to go over the summer to train and stuff, like seriously, was I retarded?? Sophomore year I had summer school, and JR year I had massive leg problems, knees and ankle, surgery on both. I didn't want to be a bench player senior year, I've never played w/ pads, so I doubt I would have been able to really play.
Me and my buddies usually play every week, but i've been out of commission, I fractured a bone in my hand, and I developed tendonitis in my wrist as a result, so i'm out for a while, I probably won't try to play until April. I'm not great, I get by on reputation a bit, but I play my heart out, and I never give up. I'm just 5'2 and 135. I play D-line against these 6'0 240 dudes, I still get to the Q a lot, I have good spin moves, strong hands, powerful legs, I need to work on my tackling technique though. I wish I was taller, and bigger, but I can't gain weight, except for getting fat, and I obviously can't just decide to grow. I really hope I grow about 4 inches.. That's all I want like 5'6 5'7. I would love to be 5'9 5'10 tho. I'm 19, and 5'2. hahah that suucks.

I played safety and defensive end. Because of bad decisions by the school on head coaching changes, we went from being one of the top teams in the district my freshman year to winning one game in two seasons my sophomore and junior year. I had three head coaches in my four years of high school. For the two year losing streak, half of the team started getting really stoned before every game. I mean completely stoned right before stretching and kickoff. Some players got drunk. We were awful, but it was fun, and other teams feared us because we were dirty as hell and didn't care about winning. My high school is permanently banned from Morehead State University's summer football camp.

I played LB and Safety. I was one of the overly aggressive ones that from the time the ball was snapped I was running somewhere and whenever I got there I was hitting someone hard. In two years (I didn't play freshman or sophomore year, I was a workout warrior those years) I only had 3 interceptions (and 1 of them was my favorite play ever), but I set the school record for forced fumbles. If I were actually good at any sport it would be weird, I pretty much just rely on speed, endurance, and strength for everything - I don't really have any football skills, just a product of athleticism.

We went 1-39 during my four years of high school.
That's worse than my school because we won the district my freshman and senior year, but we only won one game my sophomore and junior year. We had three head coaches in four seasons, and the one we had for the losing seasons was an incompetent jackass that moved away from a very successful zone blocking scheme even though we had small, athletic linemen.
