Post your thoughts here for the Saints-Colts game.

I'll comment on some of those thoughts in my running blog:

http://walterfootball.com/story2007_01.php

Colts favored by 6. Total is 53.5.

I'm going square with Indy and the Over.

"What was that NBC introduction? The words were the same, but this woman's voice was horrible. Last year's was so much better. I don't care that much right now, but I'll be freaking out by Week 9. Just giving you a warning. "

Agree it sucked balls

Never watch Hockey so you'll have to explain

About 10 years ago, people said it was hard to see the puck during hockey games, so FOX made the puck glow, and when it was shot or passed, it looked like a laser of some sort. It was a great idea for people who knew nothing about hockey, or those who were blind.

"Drew Brees' pass complete to Drew Brees. What if Brees did that on purpose? What if he has himself in fantasy? I think the NFL should investigate if he does that 23 times tonight."

I think you are the funniest sports guy ever!

Clean strip. Wayne should have went down. Indy could have picked up the fourth-and-one.

Division 1-AA teams are now eligible for the AP Poll. Great move. I wonder if App. State will be ranked.

The Saint's run defense has looked pretty awful so far. Addai is averaging almost 5.8ypc.

Walter

Just our luck. Indy-NO goes to halftime, and the Louisville-Mid Tenn St. game gets out of hand.

I was going to mention that in my blog, but i didn't have the stats because nfl.com is lagging.

Do you have the exact numbers from Addai and Keith?

Walter

Right now the Colts are executing the Tampa 2 defense to PERFECTION. They are punishing the Saints with their speedy hits. They are slowing the ball carrier down and just destroying him. They are exposing Reggie Bush's happy feet.

Let's hope this is the Bills in a year or two.

Why didn't the Saints go for it?

Why didn't the Saints go for it?

They were at their own 20. If it was on the 40 or so I would think about it but not at you'r own 20. Or were they at the 30?

EDIT:

Okay they were at their 29, go for it.

Yeah, I mean, if you get it, good. If not, you punt to the best offense in football that your defense hasn't been able to stop in this half. To me, it was a no-brainer.

David is so used to playing cover 2 and playing in zone so he can look at the QB/backfield. He is not a man-man guy imo.

Walter
