I begin the 2008 thread with the report that the Phillie Fanatic tops the Forbes list of top sports mascots, followed closely by the San Diego Chicken, as the most recognized of mascots.

Mets fans getting on Jimmy Rollins for calling the Phillies "The Team to Beat." Those Mets fans were just angry cause Jimmy Rollins was right. ;)

Glavine back in Atlanta, Joe Torre in LA, Hunter in Anaheim....

Phillies signed Pedro Feliz. I'm so glad that the strikeout machine has left. Hopefully we can get Joe Crede now. I'll never forget Larry Krueger's rant on Pedro.
