In case you don't know what this is, you need to pick a team to just win each week. If that team wins, you stay alive. If that team loses, you're out. You can't pick the same team twice.


These are guidelines I use:

1. Never pick road teams
2. Never pick a bad team
3. Never pick a public play
4. Never pick a team that could either be looking ahead or behind
5. Stay away from divisional games

Jacksonville playing Atlanta, strong possibility.
Pittsburgh playing Buffalo, strong possibility.
Carolina playing Houston, possibility.
Chicago playing KC, strong possibility.
Baltimore playing NY Jets, possibility.
New England playing San Diego, let's eliminate them.

We've narrowed it down to:
Jacksonville over Atlanta
Pittsburgh over Buffalo
Carolina over Houston
Chicago over Kansas City
Baltimore over NY Jets

Teams looking ahead:
Jacksonville at Denver in Week 3 (but lost first game)
Chicago vs. Dallas in Week 3 (but lost first game)

We've now narrowed it down to:

We don't know what the public is betting on yet.

OK, so what do you guys think? What's the strongest team we can choose out of those five?

My pick last week was Cincy over Balt. so I had to sweat that one out. This week Im picking Denver- I dont care if its a division game the Raiders still suck.

I don't think the Raiders suck that much. They have a pretty good defense and Josh McCown proved he can put up numbers. LaMont Jordan looked healthy too.

I came close to choosing Baltimore. Thing is, I have no idea what to expect from Kellen Clemens. Will he be an insta-star like Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger or Marc Bulger, or will it take him time to develop?

I'd rather take what I know (Damon Huard and the Chiefs suck) over what I don't (Clemens is ??? and the Jets are better than KC)
