The notice also charges that Sampson and Meyer had impermissible contact with a prospective recruit during a two-day sports camp at the school last summer. It further alleges Meyer gave that recruit "at least one drawstring backpack and at least one T-shirt." That too is against NCAA rules.
I don't know the whole story with what exactly Sampson did wrong, but are you ****ing kidding me? A backpack and (example) three tee shirts?
What is the kid going to do put this as a set on ebay for $29.99?
I just can't stand the NCAA sometimes.
