View Full Version : Looking for Redemption
After my "Lock of the Year" failed miserably, I'm going to try and redeem myself tonight.
Vanderbilt +2 OVER Tennessee
I can't see Tennessee coming out and playing nearly as well as they did against Memphis. In addition, this spread seems way low and the public is 75% on Tennessee.
(therefore, you might want to take Tennessee in this matchup)

You are using Walter's theory of Vegas trying to fix spreads and games.... I'll go with Tenn -2 and bet the public let's see what will happen :)
I don't blame you one bit. Good luck.

Since this form of spread betting doesn't exist in Sweden, at least not to my knowledge, can somebody explain to me how it works?
Thanks guys.
I think this game proves just how tough it is to beat Memphis, as playing them physically and emotionally drains a team.

spread betting basically makes all bets fair for either team... Say you have the best team playing the worst people would obvisouly pound the best team if it was an even trade. Now with a spread of maybe -12 means that the favored team needs to win by more than 12 to win the bet. Even if they win the game but by less than 12 pts. Then those whoe bet on the underdog would win the bet...
does this help at all Leo?

Tenn and Memphis are both uptempo fast paced teams. Will they last in the tourney??? Look at the Suns with dominate regular seasons but they were still unable to bring home a ring.... Or am I not comparing apples to apples here?

Sure, but how does it pay? If you bet a spread and win, how much do you make?
