1.Falcons- Michael Oher, LT, Ole Miss
He will allow Sam Baker to move back to his natural RT or to play LG. He will help solidify the Falcons O-Line and will help Matt Ryan develop due to having more time to throw.

2.Dolphins- Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech*
This addition of Michael Crabtree will solidify the Dolphins receiving core and will give Beck or Henne another option to give the ball to.

3.Rams- James Laurinaitis, LB, Ohio State
The Rams linebacking core is lacking and Laurinaitis will fill the gap at either MLB or OLB. This addition will make the Rams Defense better and will complement Chris Long.

4.49ers- Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma*
After another poor season of play by Alex Smith the 49ers give up on him and start a new chapter with a pure pocket passer in Sam Bradford.

5.Cheifs- Andre’ Smith, LT, Alabama*
After addressing the left guard position in the 2008 NFL draft they will go left tackle and draft Andre Smith. He allows Branden Albert to play his natural LG position.

6.Bears- Percy Harvin, WR, Florida*
The bears would prefer to go with a QB but Harvin is the best value at this spot and he still fills a need.

7.Redskins- Taylor Mays, SS, Southern Cal*
After the loss of the great Sean Taylor the redskins will switch Landry to FS and they will have a huge gap at SS. So they will draft another hard hitting S to complement LaRon Landry.

8.Titans- Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri*
After failing to address the WR position in the 2008 draft the Titans will go with a big play making speed receiver to complement Vince Young.

9.Texans- Chris Wells, RB, Ohio State*
After drafting change of pace back Steve Slaton the Texans still need to get a bruising back like Chris Wells. He is also excellent value at this spot.

10.Lions- Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State
The Detroit Lie-Downs desperately need to draft a CB after failing to in the 2008 NFL draft. Malcolm Jenkins is an all around CB that the Lions have been needing for a long time. Malcolm can also play FS.

11.Raiders- George Selvie, DE/OLB, South Florida*
George Selvie is amazing value at pick eleven and he also fills a huge need for the Raiders. He fits in as a pass rush D-lineman or an OLB.

12.Seahawks- Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia**
The Seahawks have had a huge need at RB for a long time and it is finally filled with Knowshon. He is exactly what they want, a good pass catcher that has great speed and power.

13.Broncos- Myron Rolle, FS, Florida State*
Myron Rolle will be an immediate starter at FS and will eventually take over for John Lynch at SS. He is also excellent value at pick number 13.

14.Cardinals- Michael Johnson, OLB, Georgia Tech
The Cards are lacking at the OLB position and Michael Johnson will start immediately. He is very, very good value at this spot and slipped due to lack of production.

15.Ravens- Darius Heyward Bey, WR, Maryland*
At pick 15 the Ravens address the WR position where they have no real standout. Heyward Bey will give the Ravens a new depp threat and another option for Joe Flacco.

16.Bengals- Rey Maualuga, LB, Southern Cal
The BenGALS try to erase that nickname and to erase a horrible defense. So they draft another USC LBer in Rey Maualuga. Rey has even more potential and playing abilities than Keith Rivers. Also Maualuga fits into the Bengal crime team after punching another student a few years ago.

17.Eagles from Carolina- Ciron Black, LT, Louisiana State*
Andy Reid loves to draft lineman and the Eagles desperately need a LT. Ciron Black will fill a huge gap in the O-Line and the pick will Tubby Reid happy.

18.Browns- D.J Moore, CB, Vanderbilt*
The Browns desperately need a CB after failing to address it in free agency and the 2008 NFL Draft. D.J Moore has a knack for getting the pick actually he had six interceptions and had an impressive 83 tackles.

19.Jets- Keiland Williams, RB, Louisiana State*
The Jets need to get some youth at the RB position and a RB to split carries with Thomas Jones. Keiland has amazing potential and fits the jets perfectly.

20.Packers- Willam Moore, SS, Missouri*
With no glaring needs the Packers just need to get depth at safety and they get great value with William Moore.

21.Steelers- Jordan Lake. FS, Baylor*
The Steelers have a huge need at the Free Safety position and Jordan Lake is the right man to fill it. He had an impressive 120 tackles and 2 interceptions last year. He is a solid tackler and he has a knack for making plays.

22.Bills- Greg Middleton, DE, Indiana*
After defensive end Chris Kelsey only gets 2.5 sacks the Bills desperately need a defensive end. The Bills go with the sack leader in the nation in Greg Middleton.

23.Vikings- Greg Hardy, DE, Ole Miss*
Since Ray Edwards didn’t produce and won’t produce the Vikings go with speed rusher Greg Hardy to complete their defensive line. He also is excellent value at pick

24.Eagles- Brian Cushing, LB, USC
Chris Gocong just isn’t going to cut it, that’s why the Eagles are going to pick Brian Cushing. He can play any LBer position and he can play safety.

25.Saints- Senderrick Marks, DT, Auburn*
Senderrick Marks is a perfect fit for the Saints D-line. He will be the last pie
ce in a dominant New Orleans Saints defensive line. Marks has a great combo of strength and speed.

26.Giants- Kam Chancellor, SS, Virginia Tech*
With Sammy Knight being 32, it’s time to get a young athletic replacement. Kam is just that, with 79 tackles and 1 interception last year Kam proved his abilities.

27.Cowboys- Duke Robinson, G, Oklahoma
Kyle Kosier who? That is the reason the Cowboys need a big run blocking lineman. Duke Robinson is 330 pounds! He has all the run grader abilities and he will pave the way for Marion “the barbarian”, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice.

28.Jaguars- Eugene Monroe, LT, Virginia
Kalif Barnes just isn’t going to get it done so the Jags take Eugene Monroe who didn’t allow any sacks last year. Also Monroe was the reason Branden Albert didn’t play LT.

29.Colts- Alex Mack, C, California*
Jeff Saturday is 33 and is already 10 years in the NFL. That is why the Colts go with the young Alex Mack. He is called by some the best center prospect in 10 years.

30.Patriots- James Davis, RB, Clemson
With no real holes the Patriots go with James Davis to split carries with Laurence Maroney. James Davis has exception speed and great production.

31.Chargers- Alex Boone, LT/RT, Ohio State
After failing to address the RT position the Chargers take the versatile lineman in Alex Boone. Alex Boone can play LT and RT which gives great depth on the offensive line.

32.Buccaneers- Maurice Evans, DE, Penn State*
Maques Douglas only had 3 sacks last year and for a DE that’s horrible. That is why the super bowl champs take Maurice Evans who had an amazing 12.5 sacks

Bulldog, how do the worst defense in the NFL, the dolphins, not take a DE/OLB at #2?

Bulldog, how do the worst defense in the NFL, the dolphins, not take a DE/OLB at #2?

Because they were stupid enough to take a tackle at # 1

Because I dont think any DE/OLB is worth the #2 pick

If a 6'4, 255 pound DE that runs a 4.55 and had 31.5 TFL last season isn't worth the #2 pick, then who can be?

My Concerns:
-Matt already brought up George Selvie, I have no idea what people have against him.
-James Laurinaitis doesn't make sense to me. First of all, it's a huge reach. Second, they have Will Witherspoon, that guy's awesome.
-Just wanted a chance to say that Andre Smith is a fatass.
-Reed Doughty is a solid SS.
-Titans won't reach for Jeremy Maclin in the top 10, way too raw for them.
-Texans won't take a RB in first round as long as Alex Gibbs is on the staff. Chris Wells wouldn't fit their scheme well either.
-I don't know about the Lions desperately needing one. They have Leigh Bodden, who I predict will become the best Cover-2 corner in the league.
-Demetrius Williams will make CBs weep.
-NY Jets have Leon Washington who is a dynamic back.
-Saints won't take a DT after they just extended Brian Whatshisname.
-Just wanted to bring up that Marques Douglas was a 3-4 End and he is vastly underrated. He'll play DT for the Bucs I'm pretty sure. Matt will know.

Douglas is workign out at LDE right now. He will be a reserve joker for us this year at LDE and UT actually battling 2007 5th round pick Greg Peterson (highly athletic 6'5, 285 DL from NC Central) for a roster spot. It will get interesting on the DL but it looks like Gaines Adams, Chris HOvan, Jovan Haye, Dre Moore, Ryan Sims, Kevin Carter, and Greg White have their roster spots locked up. That means about 1-2 spots are left. Greg Peterson, Marques Douglas, Jimmy Wilkerson, Charles Bennett, and Chris Bradwell will fight for those last spots. Peterson or Douglas are going to have to make the cut, and the staff might end up cutting one of these two. Edge for me has to go with the upside and Peterson.

Left Defensive End is one of Tampa's biggest needs heading into the 2009 Draft. We need an every down player over there. We have UT, NT, and RDE locked up. We are fine at LB. We are fine at Safety. We need help at LDE and CB on our defense.

We drafted Aqib Talib, but we are still kind of old there. Ronde doesn't get younger and Phillip Buchanon sucks. I think we are going to spend a pick on a CB/S in the 3rd-5th round next year. You can never have too many corners, especially in the NFC South.

So as far as future needs for Tampa goes, let's start with the obvious needs first (in no particular order):

*Left Defensive End (biggest need)
*Another young, potentially starting CB next to Talib

And now onto the potential needs:
*Quarterback if McCown and Josh Johnson aren't impressive
*Receiver if Michael Clayton doesn't step up
*Tight End if Alex Smith doesn't step up
*Left Tackle if Donald Penn doesn't step up
*Linebacker if Quincy Black, Adam Heyward, and Geno Hayes don't show promise
*Backup FS if Eugene Wilson doesn't look good there or at nickle

At receiver I think Tampa will make every attempt to sign Lee Evans or Roy Williams in free agency. That's the only position worth nothing in free agency next year.

I bet the Bills won't take a DE R1, last year everyone said WR, year before that it was LB. Everyone this year will say DE and they will take a LB or WR (Evans, Crowell FA's).

Just a few things.

1) Love Bradford but would he fit a Mike Martz Offense? He would be perfect for a West Coast.

2) Percy Harvin seems a little high.

3) You give the Browns D.J Moore? That's as bad as Beau Bell.

Good looking Draft overall.

My Concerns:
-Matt already brought up George Selvie, I have no idea what people have against him.- I think Miami will take Crabtree because they want to build up the the O and to help henne
-James Laurinaitis doesn't make sense to me. First of all, it's a huge reach. Second, they have Will Witherspoon, that guy's awesome.-Its not a reach he is amazing.Secondly Laurinaitis will play OLB or MLB in the NFL
-Just wanted a chance to say that Andre Smith-slimmed down
-Reed Doughty is a solid SS.- last time i checked 0 INTs isnt good
-Titans won't reach for Jeremy Maclin in the top 10, way too raw for them.- They reached for chris johnson and he's raw
-Texans won't take a RB in first round as long as Alex Gibbs is on the staff. Chris Wells wouldn't fit their scheme well either.- Alex Gibbs hasnt seen Chris wells before and I think he might fit into ZBS.
-I don't know about the Lions desperately needing one. They have Leigh Bodden, who I predict will become the best Cover-2 corner in the league.- I think that Malcolm can play FS and they still have some need at CB
-Demetrius Williams will make CBs weep.-this is his 3rd year so we'll find out
-NY Jets have Leon Washington who is a dynamic back.- Ok hes only "dynamic" not a fulltime back. and thomas jones is getting old
-Saints won't take a DT after they just extended Brian Whatshisname.- he only had 3 sacks last year
-Just wanted to bring up that Marques Douglas was a 3-4 End and he is vastly underrated. He'll play DT for the Bucs I'm pretty sure. Matt will know.- he only had three sacks and I think with this addition at DE it will make the D elite.

George Selvie gives the Dolphins better value than Crabtree and he also plays a major position of need.

Way too high for James Laurinaitis. By the time the draft comes around he will probably be a late first round pick. Overlooking that, #3 is a huge reach for an inside linebacker. They would be better off taking a tackle there than Laurinaitis.

They drafted Branden Albert as a left tackle. It wasn't worth taking a guard there so they will obviously give him more than this year to prove himself.

What does everyone have against Reed Doughty? They act like he doesn't exist or something.

Why would the Lions use that high of a pick on a Tampa 2 corner?

Why would the Steelers not take an offensive lineman there?

The Saints have bigger needs than padding their D line. They need secondary help and they could use a linebacker.

Why wouldn't Dallas draft a receiver? Are they not going to get Romo's future targets?

The Colts drafted 3 centers last year. Why would they draft another one in the first round in 2009?

I hate it when people say "Give us this player" because guess what, your front office doesn't care what you think. If bulldog gives you that player will that make you happy? are you going to go to sleep at night and think "Man I am glad bulldog gave my team, hypothetically, eugene monroe!"

If you are going to criticize a mock, then criticize the needs. Who cares if it is Eugene Monroe or Alex Boone, it really doesn't matter. [/rant]

Yeah, I get annoyed by it to. I normally don't do it.

Mock drafts are just hard to criticize this early in the year. They are pretty pointless this early IMO. You don't know what the team needs will be, you don't know where they will be picking and etc.

The Browns have two good Corners. Problem is that McDonald isn't going to be as good as a starter because he won't be able to roam and jump on mistakes like he does as a Nickle and Dime Corner. They drafted Branden Albert as a left tackle. It wasn't worth taking a guard there so they will obviously give him more than this year to prove himself. -I think that they will probably have him at G and besides who said they drafted him as a LT?
What does everyone have against Reed Doughty? They act like he doesn't exist or something.- Just a little while ago I even heard you say that they need a saftey

Why would the Lions use that high of a pick on a Tampa 2 corner?- because they run tampa 2/cover 2
Why would the Steelers not take an offensive lineman there?- Uhh because the bengals have a trillion and 1 wrs
The Saints have bigger needs than padding their D line. They need secondary help and they could use a linebacker.

Why wouldn't Dallas draft a receiver? Are they not going to get Romo's future targets?- Dallas is satisfied with the WRs with Crayton and TO
The Colts drafted 3 centers last year. Why would they draft another one in the first round in 2009?- what C's did they draft? Pollak used to be a C but now hes a G

I don't think Parcells is dumb enough to not build up that defense at all. There's a difference in value between a left tackle and a wide receiver.

Laurinaitis is still way too high for a linebacker. They would get better value with secondary help or addressing their offensive needs.

Albert is listed as a left tackle on the depth chart and Herm Edwards said he would be a left tackle. They wouldn't have drafted him that high to play guard.

I never said the Redskins needed a safety. I said it was a position they could stand to upgrade. Reed Doughty is solid but not great. The Skins have bigger needs.

Right. They run Tampa 2 where corners don't have to be as talented as in any other scheme. So why would they use a top pick on a corner?

It doesn't matter how many receivers anyone the Steelers play has. If they can't protect the quarterback or pave the way for Parker and Mendenhall they're screwed.

Dallas can be satisfied all they want but it doesn't change the fact that TO is getting to the age of regression.

The Colts drafted Mike Pollak, Steve Justice, and Jamey Richard with the idea that one would move to guard and the other two would play center.
