Defensive Players

I’m in Adam’s league here and we have to draft defensive players. I never played in a league with defensive players before. I would appreciate any advice on when they start getting drafted or which positions to take.

I put this in the wrong forum so if anybody wants to move it to the fantasy forum for me that would be spectacular.

El Guapo, I probably shouldn't help but I'm nice... You get big points for interceptions, sacks, and fumble recoveries so look for players who excel at this, The most points are for a TD but who really know what def player will score so I don't look at that stat at all. For more consistent points look for players that get a good amount of tackles

Look for Linebackers on crappy teams (where the defense is generally on the field) to put up big IDP #s. i.e. Patrick Willis, David Harris last year o look rookies.

my IDP sleeper is Curtis Lofton if he starts at MLB. Or any MLB on the Falcons for that matter.

ya Harris was a stud at the end of last year he'll be top 10 for sure

I'd put Willis, Jon Beason, Ernie Sims and David Harris as my top four tackles. I expect Jonathan Vilma and Keith Bulluck to have bounceback years and expect Nnamdi Asomugha to have more INTs.
