Wonder why your thread is locked on Sunday or Monday? I have to lock threads to ensure that no one edits their entry during a game to change it. I also keep threads locked if you are eliminated to prevent changes (and since posting anything in an eliminated entry is pointless).
Here's how I go about it though:
At appx. 12:45 ET on Sunday I lock all the threads. I then go through and double check all entries to see if they matchup with my spreadsheet. If not then I edit the changes on my spreadsheet (used to keep track of the contest).
The entries that have games at 1:00 stay locked. Entries that don't have games at 1:00 are unlocked.
At appx. 3:45 ET I lock up all threads again to double check the entries that didn't have games at 1. Remember, you can always edit your entry at any time up to 15 minutes prior to kickoff and it can't be a game that is already final or in progress.
I then go through and unlock the entries for those that won. Eliminated entries are moved to the Eliminated sub-forum to reduce clutter.
I continue this process for Sunday and Monday night football.
Then I post the updated spreadsheet in the Discussion thread so you can keep up with the Survivor contest yourself.
