CB DE/OLB and RB.

I dont know. I mean its possible but we switch to a 3-4. We need OLB / DE and NT much more than RB and even CB.

The Bears really don't need another DT

you are gay as the AIDS. jk. it's dece.

i know jenkins is a damn stud, but the donald brown really doesn't work for me. that pick is probably chase coffman (value+family lineage) or traded for the great gonzo.

i doubt clay matthews is available. i bet thompson loves him though. connor barwin/paul kruger are also great options at that point.
a2x makes a point about NT being a possibility, too, so ron brace might fit in rd 3.

i still don't trust matt stafford as a no. 1, but a lotof people do. maclin to niners may or may not fit singletary. tough call.

nice job though, other than not having barwin in there as far as i can tell.

Wow.

Round 3 26.Atlanta- Rashad Johnson, S, Alabama

I dont think so.
He is on the rise lately and might even go into Round 1.
If he would drop into Round 3 somehow it would be the steal of the draft imo.

isn't that Clint Smith a 34 OLB...so why draft him into a tampa 2?

If the Packers don't go with a D lineman in the first round I'll be pretty shocked. BJ Raji or a rush linebacker (Brown, Maybin, Orakpo) seem like the only options for me.

For all you mock drafters out there: THE VIKINGS DON'T NEED A TE! What's wrong with Visanthe Shiancoe?

And how in the hell does Alphonso Smith fall to late 2nd round? Because he is 5'9"? The guy is a flat out playmaker and a first round lock.

St. Louis won't go Oher, i like the Titans picks, and the Vikings could definitely use an upgrade at TE

LOL if you think buffalo will take a 34 OLB.

Clint Sintim can play 4-3 OLB...So don't LOL at someone if you don't know what you're talking about.

Derek Pegues is a reach at our round 2 in my opinion. I haven't seen him any earlier than late round 2 in any of the mocks I've read. I'd rather have Louis Delmas or Rashad Johnson there.

I've seen sintim play live he can play in a 4-3 he's not a great coverer but is good enough and you can blitz him, but I think he'll go to someone like Cleveland or New England

MockDraftXpert

I forgot the Bills played a Tampa 2...But you said he couldn't play a 4-3 which is wrong..He can play 4-3 SAM linebacker.

LOL if you think he's a 1st round lock.

Alright, Mr. Xpert do you care to elaborate on why he is not a first round pick?

You can mark this down: Alphonso Smith WILL go in the first round. Quote me on that.

Maybin and Maclin won't go top 10. They are both grossly overrated.

Bengals would be stupid to take a RB in round one.. Monroe then Sintim in round two would be a lot better.

Hate your Steelers picks.

Mack is way overrated. Levitre is too small, and Boone is horrible.

Who should the Steelers pick at that pick besides Mack? I don't like it either, but WHO?

Who should the Steelers pick at that pick besides Mack? I don't like it either, but WHO?

After watching the Steelers play all year, center has not been a weakness. Justin Hartwig came in as a free agent and has played very well most of the season. He started off slow(the entire line did), but he has improved in every game. He is far from the weakness of the OL. Another player who does not get enough credit is Max Starks. Starks is suited for LT(lefty), and he is solid in all areas of his, save the fact he is a very good run blocker.

A future LT, G, and RT are need the biggest needs in this draft for the OL. Figuring that Kendall Simmons comes back healthy and they extend Starks, I want to replace Colon at RT. Colon is horrible and should not start for any team in the NFL. He is too small in stature and is easily pushed around. I would much rather reach for a RT or LG. I personally do not like many guards in this draft, other than Tyronne Green of Auburn. He is the protocol Steelers guard. He can pull, move well in space, extremely athletic, and run block well. The thing is that Green is a 4th round prospect at best once the draft roles around. Another guard I like in this draft is Eric Wood from Louisville. Yes, he played center throughout his career but he looked very good a guard in the Senior Bowl. If not, I draft him to learn behind Hartwig and eventually replace him, whether that be in 2010 or beyond. Chris Kemoeatu has been an epic failure into living up to half the expectations of All Pro Alan Faneca, and the only way he returns is to except the fact that no one else will sign him(unless Cohwer gets a job somewhere). All the *known* OTs will be gone unless they reach for one in the 1st/2nd round, which Colbert has not done the past two drafts. One of my favorite OTs for the Steeles is Cornelius Lewis of Tennessee State. He has blocked for one of the most prolific run games in his years there and is extremely solid all around. However, once again, the earliest he would go is the 4th, and that is being quite generous. With coaching, Green, Wood and Lewis can easily become draft day steals and household names.

Now, with that first pick, I would spend it on a player who could make an immediate impact in his sophomore season. The Steelers never start rookies unless they are forced to do so. I would be okay with drafting an OLmen of calibur. Not saying that Mack is not NFL calibur, I have just watched Mack and Unger and they are not strong enough to play in the AFC North. You cannot have weak centers when you play against Shaun Rogers and Kelly Gregg. Also, Pats Sims is going to be force for the Bengals in the future. He might have been a real steal of last year's draft class.

If I was to draft someone, I would reach on Loadholt, Wood, or someone not named Mack or Unger.

I couldn't agree more. Hartwig is still good enough to not draft a C that high.

I have been trying to convince many Steelers fans over at the ESPN Draft Conversations that center is not a great need. Hartwig could easily be a center we extend for another 3-4 years. Then, you draft his replacement with Wood (I start him at LG to replace Kemoeatu to get him gametime experience early in his career) and groom him to take over when Hartwig leaves unless he develops into a sensational guard.

1. QB? Make me sick! Pioli is fine with using late-round picks as QBs.
2. Ok, but bigger needs. If a WR, go Gibson instead.
3. Loadholdt is a good pick. He'd make a good RT.

Why not just take a better C in Mack and move either him or Hartwig over to guard.
