Sorry I don't remember, but we won't have that problem this year, hopefully.

Any questions regarding this Contest, feel free to ask ;)

How many minutes before the now 4pm draft will the thread lock up?

Matt McGuire

It will lock up at 4 p.m. If I choose to lock it at 3:59 to make sure nothing goes wrong, too bad.

Two questions:
1. What is an IP address?
2. We don't have to pay to participate do we?

1. An IP address is specific to every computer. Each computer has one and they are all different. So if you make another user name and place an entry in the contest, we will know it.

2. You owe me a private fee of $200 :D

All seriousness in this thread please guys (siena/bulldog). I don't want a bunch of trash in this thread for people to look through.

Matt McGuire

Sorry loblaw I knew I forgot something.

Didn't he win the Survivor contest and not the Draft Contest?

Good name change. I just finished watching Season 1 of The Wire on DVD. It was awesome. I've still got a lot of catching up to do, though.

Oh hell yes. When I signed up for the forum I just put in the first thing that popped into my head (Shock Doctor was just a stupid reference my roommate and I had for Shockey in our Madden Franchise) and always wanted to change it. Then I watched the Wire and Jimmy McNulty is the coolest man alive. I don't understand why there are still people who haven't watched this show. Best show of all time

How does the draft time tie breaker work? Is it closest without going over like The Price is Right? Or is it just how close you were regardless if you were over the under the actual time?

Do we add in trades as we see fit or do we keep the original draft order?

I just finished season 2 On demand. I’m gonna get the rest on dvd. It’s awesome. McNulty’s drunken binge when he crashed the car was classic.

Wait, does the draft really start at 4 pm (3 pm Central)? Doesn't it usually start before noon? And how long are the first round picks, 10 or 15 minutes?

Yes, I signed up for the forums just to enter the contest. I only discovered this site about a month ago (Googling NFL mock drafts) and I love it. I'll try to have only quality posts and get to 30 that way.

The teams do not matter in this contest. If you want to project trades, then just change the players around as you see fit. All I want you to do is project the top 20...we do not have teams in here due to potential trades and even more added confusion.

It is closest to the guessed time and you can go over and still win. Have to do it this way otherwise people would just say 30 minutes to guarantee they don't go over thus possibly having an advantage if someone makes an actual guess and goes over.

Drafts starts at 4 pm Eastern. Maximum time limit of 10 minutes per pick in the first round.
