And another one... For those of you who are unaware of what this is, I'll be posting my thoughts on the game live. We've had some good conversation before.

This game is on at 8:00 on the NFL Network.

Titans favored by 3. The total is 36.

I like the Under. Also the Titans, but not as much.

Walter

No score in any of the other games so far, which is good.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:07 PM
Brett Favre is 2-of-7 for 7 yards. Terrible.

Cleveland 3, Kansas City 0.

I'm here Walter (Mark Poston).

I am sorry that I never sent you the NBA offseason needs, but I had to go to Indiana to help me aunt move and spend time with her as she divourced her husband. When I got back I just figured it was too late as most of the top free agents had already been signed.

I'll be watching the game, I like to Redskins as I am from the Washington area though my favorite team we both know is the Panthers. Can't wait to see how Jason Campbell will do this season. A lot of hype here, he has been in a couple of commercials.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:10 PM
Redskins have some hot fans, wow.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:11 PM
Glad you could make it, Mark. I'm definitely looking at Campbell in this game. I also want to see how well Tennessee can run the ball.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:13 PM
Disappointed that we won't see Vince Young tonight.

Walter

RUSHING
ATT YDS TD LG

C. Benson (http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/406400)2 -994 0 5

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:14 PM
Yeah, I wonder what team rules he broke...

Benson rushed twice for -994 yards, according to NFL.com LOL.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:15 PM
Lol, the NFL.com scoreboard always has little glitches like that, I am keeping my eye on the Panther game.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:16 PM
Kerry Collins is a mentor for Vince Marshall, hmmm...

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:20 PM
Nice start for Campbell, but the Redskins can't move the ball vs. one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:23 PM
Panthers up 7-0. Can't believe Steve Smith is playing. Why?

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:23 PM
Jason Campbell fumbles, recovered by Tenn...

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:24 PM
Jaguars up 7-0. Nice drive against the second-string defense by Leftwich and Co. Great job.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:25 PM
Titans looked pretty good against the run.

Panthers just scored a touchdown. Foster broke a 15 yard run, then Nick Goings broke a 21 yard run. 5 yard touchdown pass to Steve Smith.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:27 PM
Ronnie Brown still in the game in the second quarter. Cam Cameron didn't the memo that the preseason doesn't count.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:28 PM

What do you think about Smith playing right now? Only harm can be done.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:29 PM
Way to go, Kerry Collins.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:30 PM
Wonder if Collins was drunk on that snap.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:31 PM

Yeah, I wouldn't want him in, I think the other three WR's need to be on the field to see who can be that number two option for the Panthers. I wouldn't be surprised if Colbert gets cut at the end of preseason, he has been a complete bust after his rookie season.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:32 PM
Damn, looks like the Giants-Panthers game is going Over.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:32 PM
Yeah, they seem to like Drew Carter and obviously Dwayne Jarrett more. Can't believe Colbert regressed this much.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:33 PM
Trent Green 2-of-7, 18 yards. Great trade, Dolphins.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:35 PM
Wow, Campbell's a fumbling machine... The first time he didn't see the guy. Campbell should have stepped up in the pocket that time.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:35 PM
3-10-JAC 32 (9:30) (Shotgun) T.Green sacked at JAX 38 for -6 yards (J.Wyche). FUMBLES (J.Wyche), RECOVERED by JAX-R.Meier at JAX 37.

LOL, what a surprise. Just like last year.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:36 PM
Number 31, Finnegan or however you spell his name, is looking pretty good.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:37 PM
Finnegan played extremely well at the end of last season.

3-0 Tennessee.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:41 PM
Leftwich still in the game for the Jaguars. It's like this Miami-Jacksonville game is taking place 10 weeks in the future.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:43 PM
I really like Toefield, he isn't playing well in the Dolphins game, but I think he could be a valuable piece to an offense if given a shot.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:44 PM
Campbell, nice pass to Santana Moss, who shouldn't be in the game either.

I'm telling you, a key player will go down either today, tomorrow or Monday if these coaches keep being this dumb.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:45 PM
Nice play by Campbell to avoid the sack.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:46 PM
3-6-NYG 30 (12:20) D.Carr sacked at NYG 43 for -13 yards (W.Demps).

Now where have I heard that before?

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:47 PM
Trent Green still in the game, 2:47 left in the 2Q. Cameron appears to have no clue.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:49 PM
LOL, Rich Eisen, "Only four three-and-outs for Brett Favre." Classic.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:51 PM
2-10-MIA 36 (2:09) (Shotgun) T.Green pass short right intended for D.Hagan INTERCEPTED by B.Thornton at JAX 49. B.Thornton to JAX 49 for no gain.

You don't know how many e-mails I got from Dolphins fans who defended Trent Green and their defense. I know the first game of the preseason isn't an indication, but Green can't do anything against Jacksonville's backups.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:52 PM
Cleveland just converted a 3rd-and-15 and a 2nd-and-25 on the same drive. Kansas City sucks.

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:53 PM
I really like Toefield, he isn't playing well in the Dolphins game, but I think he could be a valuable piece to an offense if given a shot.

Toefield with two fumbles now.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:55 PM
Walt, do you think Fred Smoot will rebound now that he is back with the Redskins?

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:57 PM
I think so, a lot of players go back to their original team and play well, i.e. Jeremiah Trotter

Walter
08-11-2007, 07:58 PM
Did you see how huge LenDale White's gut is? He eats 16 cheeseburgers whenever he goes to McDonald's. Seriously.

Mark
08-11-2007, 07:59 PM
Yeah I saw that. Faulk says he looks good.

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:00 PM
Aaron Rodgers is 9/14, 91 yds.

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:00 PM
Yeah I saw that. Faulk says he looks good.

Looks good to take on Kobiyashi in a hot dog-eating contest, I think he meant.

Mark
08-11-2007, 08:12 PM
Lol.

Take Campbell out!

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:14 PM
I think that's a catch and a fumble, per the new rules.

Mark, how's David Carr looking?

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:15 PM
The play's not reviewable? What the hell? Why the hell not?

Mark
08-11-2007, 08:17 PM
I think that's a catch and a fumble, per the new rules.

Mark, how's David Carr looking?
Not much to report, the Panthers have been running with Nick Goings a lot. He did hit Ryne Robinson for a nice play, Other then that, not much.

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:20 PM
I think the NFL Network is replaying the game tomorrow. I'll definitely be checking that out.

Mark
08-11-2007, 08:21 PM
Panthers using the hurry up offense, and Carr has been making some good passes, hit Horn and Robinson for another big play. Then he got sacked.

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:22 PM
Well, the Panthers-Giants Under is shot.

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:23 PM
David Carr throws a touchdown. At least this game will be exciting. Not sure why the NFLN picked Washington-Tennessee.

Mark
08-11-2007, 08:23 PM
WOW! Nice throw by Carr, hit Taye Biddle for a 23 yard touchdown. Great drive by David Carr.

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:27 PM
This is ridiculous, what's Campbell going to learn against Tennessee's second-string?

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:28 PM
The Colts went 0-5 and won the Super Bowl. The preseason doesn't matter. If your team sucks, your team sucks. The Redskins were a losing squad last year because they sucked; not because they played poorly in the preseason.

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:42 PM
3-5-CAR 15 (13:38) (Shotgun) D.Carr pass deep right to T.Biddle for 85 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

Holy crap.

Mark
08-11-2007, 08:42 PM
This game is very boring, what do youn think, Walt.

Walter
08-11-2007, 08:56 PM
I never find any games boring, but this is as close to boring for me as you can get, I guess. Chris Henry looks great. Willie Parker couldn't start in North Carolina, so Henry looks like another one of those guys.

Mark
08-11-2007, 09:01 PM
I hope you get a chance to see the Panther game, Carr played great.

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:06 PM
Panthers-Giants are on at 2 on the NFLN tomorrow. I'll be out of the house most likely, but I'm definitely going to tape it.

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:21 PM
Chris Henry is looking really good, he could be the starter on opening day.

Mark
08-11-2007, 09:24 PM
Seeing the cave man commercial makes me wonder what there show will actually be about.

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:25 PM
Yeah, I'm definitely going to check out the show. Funny premise.

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:27 PM
Damn Dolphins-Jags game... Jesse Chatman just had to have that long touchdown, and the Dolphins just had to make that two-point conversion. The total's at 35, Over-Under was 34. Bah!

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:38 PM
The Browns-Chiefs is about to go over too, that's just horrible luck.

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:41 PM
Chris Henry just made a great block in pass protection. Seriously, no reason he should be the No. 1 back.

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:42 PM
Nice double chin, LenDale

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:43 PM
Vaughn? Where's Bironas?

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:43 PM
6-0 Tennessee

Mark
08-11-2007, 09:45 PM
If LenDale wants to be the number one running back on the Titans, he has to do better then 6 carries for 12 yards.

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:52 PM
Washington can't pass protect.

Walter
08-11-2007, 09:53 PM
If LenDale wants to be the number one running back on the Titans, he has to do better then 6 carries for 12 yards.

And stop eating 16 cheeseburgers whenever he goes to McDonald's. (That's true, by the way, he ate 16 burgers once).

Mark
08-11-2007, 09:58 PM
He should do some commercials for McDonalds then.

Walter
08-11-2007, 10:03 PM
Houston Texans about to blow their game against the Bears because one of the idiots ran into the punter on a 4th-and-6. Chicago went for it on 4th-and-1 and made it.

Titans going to ruin their victory as well.

Walter
08-11-2007, 10:03 PM
Good job Texans, way to blow it.

Walter
08-11-2007, 10:05 PM
Good job, Titans, way to blow it.

Walter
08-11-2007, 10:08 PM
LOL 14-6 Skins... That was pathetic.

Mark
08-11-2007, 10:12 PM
Alexander has heart, I love it.

Walter
08-11-2007, 10:13 PM
No. 79 Alexander lost his helmet and still made a head-first tackle. Another helmet hit him in the mouth, and he's bleeding all over. I hope he makes the team.

Mark
08-11-2007, 10:16 PM
Well Walter, the game is over, think I'm going to head off now, goodnight man.

Walter
08-11-2007, 10:24 PM
Good night, thanks for joining me in here.
