Eben Britton. Ryan Cook is horrible.

Center is the biggest need on that line. Alex Mack it is.

Vikes try WR again. DHB seems like mostly pure speed, reminding them too much of Troy Williamson. Kenny Britt's the pick.

They need to improve their O-Line, either RT Britton or C Mack will be pick here.
I voted Britton.

Vontae Davis. He shouldn't have fallen this far

Britton fits exactly what the Vikings are looking for. It's a match made in heaven.

I really hope Mack won't be a Viking next week.

I think Britton makes the most sense.

OL is the safest pick, but they really need WR's badly.

They need help on the O-line or WR more than the D. Britton makes sense.

I voted Butler, but I could see Britton and Britt, too. Beatty, also, if he falls. Either way, the pick's last name will start with a B.

I took Britton to fill a need, but I think Davis is by far the best value left on the board.

Eben Britton is the last of the First Round OT left on the board when the Vikings are up to pick. I doubt they go with a DB, because their DB's seem to find a way to cause turnovers. They could use more depth in their secondary, but I think Brad Clueless feels just fine drafting weapons for A.Peterson. If I were the GM in Minesota, I would either draft Pettigrew, or package a deal to get Boldin from Arizona. And IF, I were able to pull off the Boldin deal. I would have a Lake Minnetonka boat party. And Walter, your invited.

Instead of trying to get a young QB to fit a great Defense like Pitts and Baltimore do(who trusts that success), the Vikings settled for Sage. Let's put it this way, if you are going to prom and you have to choose between the overweight senior(sage) that you know will go with you, or do you try your luck on the kinda cute junior girl who's on the BB team(sanchez or freeman)?
Ok, maybe I should leave the analogies for Walter and the pros, but I just don't like settling on the overweight senior... Instead of QB, the Vikes will grab some sort of line help or CB... It doesn't really matter because either way they will be the underachievers in the playoffs next year.If they make them

I feel that Kenny Britt has more talent at his position than Britton does at this, but the pick could go either way. Britton has the nasty streak that Cook lacks, and does not have problems with snap counts. The only thing limiting him is his arm length. Britt is a Braylon Edwards/Terrell Owens/Larry Fitzgerald type receiver. In no way an I saying that he will equal their NFL production, but he has that build and that kind of speed. He's also the Big East's all time leading receiver.
I would feel more comfortable with Britt in the 1st and a Meredith or Kropog in the 2nd than I would with Britton in the 1st and a Brian Robiskie or Juaquin Iglesias in the 2nd

Vontae Davis will not be selected by the Vikings. Childress is on the hot seat, and Griffin/Winfield is a solid cornerback tandem. Charles Gordon looked promising last year before he injured his ankle. At best, Davis would be a nickel/dime back, and that really doesn't help Childress retain his job. Instead, they go for an immediate starter on the offensive line in Eben Britton. He can slide in immediately at right tackle to replace Ryan Cook, who would compete with John Sullivan for the center position. Alex Mack would also be a solid pick, but Britton offers better value at this point.

Britton is barely a day 1 talent. Vontae Davis is a top 10 talent. Easy decision.

Ryan Cook is really really bad.

I picked Ebon Britton because it made the most sense, but now i'm starting to doubt myself. RT was their biggest need last year too and they didn't address it. I'm wondering if they try to make a splash with a WR instead.

I was going to pick Percy Harvin, but he is not available (?), so I am going with Britt. Britt seems to me like a more polished WR than the others in this class

Adrian Peterson will have to sop up his drool over the massive 6'6" 310 lbs that will clear lanes all the way to Deluth, MN.

With the weed thing and durability issues, he's no longer a first-round prospect.
I went Darrius Heyward-Bey;Although Berrian is good, and rice should be healthy this season, I feel sage will be good enough to get the ball to someone like Heyward-Bey. Too early for britton, and no real use for davis.

I really want DHB on the vikes but childress will adress the need for rt. and there is way the vikes are taking acenter in the 1st, matt birk wasn't even a high pick, they already have john Sullivan, I'm really hoping Beatty falls to the vikes........

This pick SHOULD be a RT but it was no more a need this year than last (we all knew that Ryan Cook was terrible going into the 2008 draft). If the Vikes learned their lesson, they will draft a tackle.
Clearly, they haven't learned their lesson... Clueless is still the coach! He will undoubtedly want another WR for his wildly unpredictable offense (no sarcasm at all there, I swear). This pick is a wildcard but my money is on WR. After all, TJax is only one rookie WR away from becoming a pro-bowl talent, right Brad?

I like the Britts, but I would rather have them take a corner. Vonate Davis would be able to step in immediately in nickel packages and allow Antoine Wnifield to play the slot.
