I think that I got 53/100 if I did the math right. Leave it up to Al Davis to mess me up by taking Heyward-Bey when I had Macklin at that pick. That wasn't the only pick that I got completely wrong but as soon as I saw that pick, I knew that I had no chance of winning this.

Crabtree

Believe I got 61/100.. Should have stuck with my gut and put DHB at 7 but I thought the Raiders wouldn't be idiots for once

Man. I just realized I totally forgot to put Jason Smith in my contest draft when I did my last edit half asleep last night at 4 am. Damnit.

04-25-2009, 09:17 PM
if i did the math right i got a 43 not enough to win but it did make the draft much more interesting thats for sure. i wonder how many of you had Sanchez going to the 49ers? i knew that wasnt going to happen i had him going pick four with the first trade being pick four as well. i was pissed to miss it by one pick. oh well like i said it made the draft much more interesting

I think I got 35...fail.

Check that, 40...still fail. Should've stuck with the Cushing pick.

A crap 37. Totally whiffed on DHB and Cushing (though I still think we should've gone CM3) but I can't be blamed for Tyson and Moreno.

I got a 45. I thought about just ripping off the mock of my local sportswriter, but didn't. He would have gotten a nice 60. I really hope that 60 doesn't finish in the money; I'd feel robbed.

I hadn't realized that a perfect score would be 100. Pretty cool.

31. E. Monroe killed me but at least I was guaranteed 5 from Stafford! Woo Hoo!

joemiken

I think I got 64. Stafford, J. Smith, Jackson, Curry, A. Smith, DHB, Jenkins, Cushing and Freeman dead on (45 pts), Crabtree, Orakpo and Ayers off by one (12 pts), Monroe off by 2 (3 pts), Sanchez off by 3 (2 pts), Raji and Jerry off by 4 (2 pts) and whiffed on Oher, V. Davis, Maualuga and Butler.

I got 57 when I counted his up. I've seen a couple high 50s, but I think my 64 may hold up.

so i wanted to see how i did against the so called experts. and i put them to the same point system we had. i thought it would be interesting to see what the so called experts came up with. with all there inside information i thought i should get blown out. i came across this site http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=3850049 which gave me the top 16 of mel kipers pick so i took my top 16 against his and he scored a 30 and i scored a 34 i am curious to hear how others did against the experts. i am no guru or sports fanatic i am a casual watcher i do the odd fantasy football leauge and i cant speel for crap. i then went to http://www.nfldraftdog.com/Mock_Drafts/2009_nfl_mock_draft.htm to see how they did aand out of there top 20 they scored a whopping 31 i scored a 43 now i know that my score of 43 isn't as high as some of yours but man these so called experts suck. i am now curious if there is any expert or draft guru out there that beat my score of 43 if you know of one please hit me back up.

Hopefully we get something official soon. I'd be happy with 2nd or 3rd out of 200-some mocks. Hell, I'd be happy w/ top 10. :D

43, practically the same as last year. Would have been much higher if I had stuck with Freeman and Ayers around the 17-19 range. I also moved Aaron Maybin from Buffalo and gave them Michael Oher after the whole Peters thing. Im pretty happy just should have followed my gut with Cushing at 15 (planned for an Eagles trade up to grab Moreno), left Maybin at 11, and stuck with Ayers and Freeman.

Damn my love for Everrette Brown and hatred for Josh Freeman. Love the contest will get you guys next year.

Congrats to the winner, whoever the man maybe (Im assuming EraserGirl didnt comeout victorius).

48. I ****ing sucked.

I think I got a 46. Of course, I didn't try to submit my draft (http://walterfootball.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9984) until 3:55 PM, EST, so it was too late.

But I'm a Redskin fan, and I guessed that Brian Orakpo would be our choice at pick 13. So I've got that going for me.

An interesting poll would be to guess who will be the best of the 3 USC linebackers next season. I thought Houston would draft Clay Matthews, but Brian Cushing has the highest expectations now.

32 here. I forgot to put Sanchez in my final edit, which would've netted me another 6 points because I had meant to re-shuffle a couple of the ones I totally whiffed on.

Oh well.

I'm finding average to be around 42.

About half the grading for the contest is done. Should be done by Friday, but I think I know who the winner is gonna be.
