  • Tebow to FINALLY be Used Correctly

    YAY Another Tebow Thread!

According to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, the Jets plan to use Tim Tebow at (wildcat) quarterback, H-Back, fullback, running back, and as the personal protector on punt returns.

          Don't understand what?

The Jets want to get Tebow on the field for 20+ plays a game. He will only be Wildcat QB between I'd guess 4-10 plays a game. He will play STs and be a blocker/rb the rest of the time to get the other touches/plays

I have absolutely no problem with this.

They're gonna put Tebow in open space on special teams? Everything else I expected

Well it's right there in the article...

The way we’re going to be running things plays right into Mark's strengths, running the ball.
So in other words, what's Sanchez' strength? That's right, handing it off to the RB...

I like this. I still prefer him as a starter over Sanchez, but that doesn't make any sense with the team in flux and Sanchez having just received the extension. I like that they're making an effort to get him on the field and utilize his skillset. I'm excited to see how much success he has.

Then again, he plays for the Jets now, so I'm predisposed to root against him... That's a tad disappointing.

Siena, I hate to break this to you. Tebow will be starting no later than week 8 because Sanchez is going to crumble like Kyle Orton. Denver fans are angels compared to NY fans. It's going to be ugly.

Jet fans will be screaming for Tebow in the preseason. I can't wait for this disaster.
