A Bears loss and the Vikings-Bears game next week means something really big.

Alex Smith isn't playing. Kaepernick against the Bears D doesn't look good.

Jason Campbell needs to show he was worth all that money the Bears paid him.

What does anyone bet, it's backup QBs...I do think SF still wins this, best defense wins...should be an ok game still.

Told you guys Alex wasn't playing.

Good news is we should be much more prepared for Campbell than they are for Kap.

On what planet do the 49ers have a better defence?

The Bears allow .7 points more a game, but have 30 turnovers and 7 TDs compared to the 49ers who have 13 turnovers and 1 TD.

I took the Bears, I don't think Kap can play yet

I like the Bears in this. Kapernick I belive is making his first start and the Bears are good at creating turnovers. You have to think that they can probably force him to make some mistakes and create more turnovers then the 49'ers D.

You've got 2 backups facing off against 2 very good defenses. . . I think the game comes down to who takes care of the ball better. And in that case I'm thinking Campbell has the edge.

It depends what you want from your defence.

Right now, though, I'd take the Bears' D.

Kap's not going to be throwing the ball around. We might run the ball 50 times between Kap, Gore, and Hunter.
