    Football Jersey Size

I'm ordering a jersey online and I haven't bought one for a few years so I'm not really sure about sizes. I have a large, and while it fits my chest, shoulders and arms it swims around my waist and is pretty damn long. I'm like 5'11"/6", 190 lbs. What would you suggest? Should I just stick with a large?

Jersey sizes are tough, Im 5'10'' 280 lbs, I get 2x, so I wouldn't know.

They are all completely screwed up. I have jerseys that fit me ranging from 14/16 to 50(Large).

I would try to see if you can get chest measurements of the jersey (some places list them online) or go to a store and look at the sizes of jerseys there and compare them.

The sizes vary per retailer and if they are authentic or replica. It's really a complete mess.

I'm sorry I can't be more help...it's always an adventure.

However, my gut feeling is that you do not want a large, because that's what I wear (and it's often big on me) and I'm 6'3" 180 lbs. I'd go closer to a medium because you're 4 inches shorter than I.

I'm 5'7" 150 and Medium's fit me great. So I'd say you want a large

But like I said, it depends who is making the medium or a large. I once got an XL from a family member that went to my knees, and I'm 6'3". I have 2 Elways, a Medium and a Large, and they're the same size.

    Buying jerseys makes me crazy.

I like the stitched jerseys that have a number size. I only have one (Addai Super Bowl one), but I wouldn't mind getting more if the blue Colts jerseys weren't so hideous.

Adidas makes jerseys big. Nike makes them small. It's the same thing with shoes.

I'm 6-0, 175 pounds and I wear a medium Colts jersey and it fits like a t-shirt. A large is probably the best size. XLs are pushing it for me.

According to your stats , if your going to buy a replica , your best bet is a large. If your going to buy an authentic jersey , go with size 50 . Jerseys always seem to be long and wide around the waist .....( to accommodate those that have less than an " athletic " build. Good luck.

Hmm, I have an XL and I am 6' 2'' and 185 lbs and that fits me well.
