Sure it counts in the record and the Super Bowl t-shirts won't say Colts: 17-0 undefeated season, but those teams are more than an injured QB. It's a complete 2nd team. Very few of those players out there on the field will get significant playing time tonight, so why would you factor it into stats?

It was an official NFL game. Management chose to put the players on the field. It counts just as much as any other game

Most definitely this. I agree completely. If this was Colts-Vikings I would be predicting Colts-1 bajillion Vikings-negative bajillion, but the Saints have a damn good shot of winning tonight. I just think the Colts offense is too good for the Saints D.

Out of all 31 other teams in the league, I think the Dolphins match up best with the Colts when Ronnie Brown is healthy. Their wildcat is beautiful and I like Henne to the extent I can like a scUM person who doesn't play for the Colts. The AFC East is going to be great. I'm glad the Colts won't have to play them until 2012 again.

In the standings, yes, but saying the Colts have the 24th ranked run defense is a stat that doesn't tell the whole story. Take out that game and the Colts have I think the 15th ranked run defense (10th if you don't include the Miami Wildcat game which is something that won't be seen tonight) and the Colts would also have the number one passing offense as well instead of the second. The stats were self-manipulated.

Which Pierre will have the better game?

The Haitian Sensation is my MVP pick so I will go with him. Thomas will be the best RB for the Saints though. I doubt Bush gets more than 75 total yards in this game. The Colts run D does not allow big running plays which is all Reggie Bush is.

Any team would rise up the stat list if you take out their bad games. Crap argument
