So the 2010 NFL Draft is over and now we are headed for some serious down time until mini camps and then of course preseason and then regular season starts. But it’s never too early to talk about the next draft.

This thread will be a random discussion thread. All topics are on topic and relevant. I will begin with listing the more notable top prospects that are regarded as some of the top payers at each position. If enough people request a certain player then I will place that person on the list under his specific position.

***A couple of things that I find interesting is that the QB class is stacked from the looks of this class. Odds are though that one of the juniors or Luck the RS Soph. will return to school.

***Another interesting thing about the 2011 draft is that North Carolina is got some serious talent and it looks like Butch Davis turning NC into a mini "U".

***The wide out class is also stacked. Jones, Floyd and Green all have potential to be picked in the top 10. So not only would there be 3 QB's with the potential to be picked in the top 10 so would 3 receivers with at least 2 more picked in the top 20.

***This looks to be a offense skill position heavy draft.

***The defensive ends in this draft might be the best we've seen in a very long time. 4-3 DE's look to dominant this draft and quite a few of them have prototypical size / speed ratio's which will make some teams go absolutely ga-ga for.

***There also may be 3 centers taken in the 1st round with a 4th that might be taken early 2nd should he decide to declare. This might be the best center class that we have ever seen.

***The defensive backfield might not be as strong as in past years, but CB Patrick Peterson looks to be the Shawn Springs / Darren Woodson of this draft and could go as high as top 3.

***Mark Ingram looks to be the only consensus 1st round graded back. This class might be a weak RB class.

So any other topics will be welcomed.

Terrell Pryor, Dayne Crist, and John Brantley could emerge as first rounders if they have breakout years at quarterback and post 2008 Bradford numbers or 2009 Clausen numbers. A lot of time to tell and a lot of time to speculate the unique players in the 2011 draft class. It should be a lot of fun.

Kind of off topic, but besides Denver and New England, are there any other changes in the draft order for Round 2?

I highly doubt Crist or Brantley A) gets first-round consideration this year, and B) comes out after one season starting. Both are extremely talented, but 12-14 games just isn't enough for a realistic evaluation of their abilities. Well, unless they went to USC...

Julio Jones is an enormous *****. He drops a lot of passes and can't get off press coverage. Green, Floyd, and Baldwin are all much better football players.

Yeah this class has a lot of potential, I mean we could be looking at a 2004 or 2006 Draft class. There is some serious talent at the exciting positions.

I mean just look at the receiver group, it's flat out amazing and we all know that junior receivers always declare.

Whoooooaaa!LOL No you di---int!!!!!! Julio is a beast! haha I like him alot, I think he has T.O. syndrome with mental lapses and focus issues. But when he is on no one can cover him or keep him catching passes.

I do love Green though and I think he might be the best of the group.

For the Saints, my early favourite prospects for them to draft are Travis Lewis, Bruce Carter and Marvin Austin.
