I'm just going to say it because I have a feeling it will be an issue

Especially if the Cowboys somehow win tonight.

If, by WEEK 7, you are under .500, then you are NOT A TOP 10 TEAM.

If you are over .500, you are NOT A BOTTOM 10 TEAM.

    Pretty much.

1-6 in week 7 = bottom 10 team. You'd need to win consecutive games 9 games to be 10-6. That's expecting a team to go from 15% wins to 100%. A 700% increase in winning percentage.

and since I don't want to create another topic:

    Last years AFC West:
    Chargers
    Broncos
    Raiders
    Chiefs

    This years (so far):
    Chiefs
    Raiders
    Chargers
    Broncos.

    Stats!

    But yes, I agree

  4. Since this is an obvious shot at Walter, I'll defend his rankings where goes off who he thinks is the best team, and not the best record. However, I have a problem with him for some inexplicable reason, moving teams down after getting convincing wins, and moving other teams up after baffling defeats.

  5. I disagree. A below average team could get a bunch of breaks and end up going 11-5. That doesn't mean they're truly a great team. Walt should continue to rank teams by talent level. It's possible he's under/overestimating certain teams' talent but going by record alone is no good either.

I agree that record alone isn't enough to judge a team by, but eventually you have to see that maybe the Cowboys just aren't that good.

I don't move teams up or down. I just rank them from 1-32 based on how good I think they are.

I don't understand how anyone can ever complain about power rankings. There's no right or wrong. Everyone has different power rankings. I just rank the teams based on all of the games I watch, and doing so helps me out with my picks.

But if you want analysis solely based on records, let me remind you what that would be like:

OMG THE NUMBER IN THE FIRST COLUMN OF TEAM X IS GREATER THAN THE NUMBER IN THE FIRST COLUMN OF TEAM Y SO TEAM X MUST BE THE BETTER TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT TEAM Z AND TEAM C HAVE THE SAME NUMBERS IN THE FIRST COLUMN AND SECOND COLUMN SO I DUNNO WHAT TO DO OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.
