    MLB Discussion Thread

The season's upon us and no thread so far, so here you go. Here's my uneducated predictions

    AL East: Rays (92 wins)
    AL Central: Tigers (90 wins)
    AL West: Angels (96 wins)
AL WC1: Blue Jays (90 wins)
    AL WC2: A's (90 wins)

    NL East: Nationals (93 wins)
    NL Central: Cardinals (93 wins)
    NL West: Dodgers (95 wins)
    WC1: Reds (91 wins)
    WC2: Braves (92 wins)

Home teams win the Wild Card round

Angels beat Blue Jays in 4
    Tigers beat Rays in 5
    Reds beat Dodgers in 4
    Nats beat Cards in 4

    Angels beat Tigers in 6
    Reds beat Nats in 7

WS: Reds over Angels in 6

I don't wanna do player awards because I have no idea, but here's some O/U and props I like:
    Twins over 67.5
    A's over 84
    Red Sox under 83
    D-Backs over 82.5

    A's win AL West +600
    Rays win AL East +280

I'm expecting another White Sox 2nd place finish by quite a bit, that depresses me. It however isn't enough for me to not pick ****. Last year I predicted Detroit in the big one, one our of two.

    NLE- Nationals
    NLC- Reds
    NLW- Giants
    NLWC- Dodgers
    NLWC- Cardinals

    ALE- Rays
    ALC- Tigers
    ALW- Angels
    ALWC- Yankees
    ALWC- Blue Jays

    WS: Angels over Reds

The White Sox are literally the most average team of all time. I agree they'll finish 2nd but it's just a weird team. Crappy farm system, good veterans, a couple of younger stars.. I just don't know what direction you go in

    Is Rofl speaking Oriole?

  9. Trout won't win MVP, he'll be the best player but regress from last year so people won't pick him

I'm starting to get the high price for Dickey..

Zach Greinke (6 yrs, up to 158M), Felix Hernandez (7/175) and Verlander (7/180) and RA Dickey (3/36).

Age is a huge factor, knuckleball is another, but that's an egregious separation.
