the idea is that for Atlanta, I get a guy who while unhappy in Carolina, and kind of an injury risk is still worth a 3rd round pick, and will be my NT in the 4-3 next to Rod Coleman and with Abraham and Anderson on the ends. and he will be rotating with Trey Lewis.
at OT Travelle Wharton is worth IMO a 4th and will eb a solid starter at RT till I groom a draft pick.
and at RB, I need a guy who can play snaps with Norwood and I see Foster as him. and I value him as a 3rd as well, and since they have DeAngelo Williams, they don't really need him, where I think he can be the workhorse (225-250 carries) and Norwood the COP (125-150 carries).
for him, idk his reasoning other than Wharton isn't that great at LT, and he already has Gross at RT, Jenkins is unhappy there, and Foster is in kind of a logjam at RB there.
what about Buffalo?
they've taken on a lot of salary too. amd Atlanta will have upwards of 30M after getting rid of Vick and some others this offseason.

Charles Spencer-2007: $360,000, 2008: $445,000, 2009: $530,000, 2010: Free Agent
Ashley Lelie-$4.3 million contract. The deal included a $2 million signing bonus and contains another $1.7 million in incentives. Lelie will get $3.2 million in 2007.
Ken Lucas -2007: $3,200,000, 2008: $2,300,000, 2009: $5,600,000, 2010: $6,000,000, 2011: Free Agent. Carolina would take a $4 million cap hit to release Lucas in the 2007 offseason.
bills, what about the guys you traded? You have to pay a % of everyone's signing bonus.
ok, hold on, I have nearly 25M in cap room as is. getting Jenkins is like 5 of it, Wharton is like 500K, and Foster is like 1M, I would be fine in terms of salary.
