  • 49ers Trade Block

WR Darrell Jackson - Jackson had a disappointing year, but he can still contribute as a #2 receiver. Jackson has been to several pro bowls and had 956 yards and over 15 yards a catch last year. Salary about 2 mil last year.
Available in exchange for a: Mid to late-round pick (5th or 6th)

QB Trent Dilfer - Dilfer can mentor a young QB, and is a good locker room influence. Small salary.
Available in exchange for: Basically anything

FS Mark Roman - Roman started for the 9ers last year and is very dependable. Unfortunately for him, 2nd year man Dashon Goldson is pushing for playing time. Salary about 3 mil last year.
Available in exchange for a: Mid-round pick (4th)

OLB Tully Banta Cain - Banta Cain was a big disappointment last year, but he is in his prime and played well in New England. Salary less then 1 mil last year.
Available in exchange for a: Mid-round pick (4th or 5th)

LB Jeff Ulbrich - Can play outside or inside, 3-4 or 4-3. Good special teamer and can provide depth. Salary about 1 mil last year.
Available in exchange for a: Mid or late-round pick (5th or 6th)

    SALARIES FROM: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/teamSal...tegoryId=67059

    Untouchable:
    RB Frank Gore
    QB Alex Smith
    CB Nate Clements
    TE Vernon Davis
    OT Joe Staley

Everyone else can be traded for, but you will get better deals on people on trade block.

    Team needs

    #1 reciever
    Pass-rushing DE

Yeah, I think I'd rather go with a carrot, that way I don't have to buy Leftwich all those cheeseburgers.

He's untouchable b/c no one in their right mind would pick up his huge salary. But he would be traded for anything, even vbsiena's carrot.

When you've got one of the crappiest teams in the league, it's hard to find good players to put on the trading block.

FS Mark Roman - Roman started for the 9ers last year and is very dependable. Unfortunately for him, 2nd year man Dashon Goldson is pushing for playing time. Salary about 3 mil last year.
Available in exchange for a: Mid-round pick (4th)

RB Frank Gore - Gore had been untouchable but thanks to the clueless Yorks, Mike Martz, who hates running is our new OC. That means Gore, a young stud who has run for over 1,100 yards in two straight years is available.
Available in exchange for a: First-Round pick, elite player
