Trade w/ Major Cap Issues

My 49ers certainly are popular trading partners. The niners will receive DE Reggie Heyward and the Jaguars 4th-round pick in exchange for WR Arnaz Battle, QB Trent Dilfer, and OLB Manny Lawson.

Tons of cap penalties here, not sure this would ever happen, but let's vote anyway.

Manny Lawson is only a 2nd year player and imo a very good fit in the 3-4, and has $4.9 million in guaranteed money. The others don't have much guaranteed money.

I have to say no just because Lawson.

My question is this, not all votes are going to be fair.

IE-NNC says he's voting just for the sake of not having Lawson depart.I thought Walter was running this & why does there even have to be polls on trades?Not just this one BUT ALL trades.If this si supposed to be based on reality, none of these trades would have passed.But it what it is.

He is in his 2nd year (going into 3rd), and still has butt loads of potential he tore a ligament and will be fine for the start of next year.

I agree that this trade wouldn't happen. The 49er's Invested a first rounder in Manny Lawson just 2 years ago teams don't just give up on an investment like that so soon. Unless they switch schemes which the 49er's haven't.
