  • Resigning form the mock!

    Hi all!

I've been doing some thinking and decided to resign as GM of the Dolphins in the forum mock draft. I'd like to keep doing it, but since I'm out of phase with the rest of you guys (and with the speed this thing keeps rolling with, which is good) I feel I don't have the time to keep up with this. Today I've been away all day (building and painting props for a comedy theater thingy I'm involved with) and just recently got home (11 PM my time). But if you look at yesterday for instance: Went to bed at nineish and there was 7 or 8 picks before me and the picks thread was locked which made it seem like there was no real idea to hand in a big board (There seldom is more than four-five picks ahead of your own) so i hit the bunk, and when I woke up, well, I was obviously too late. So in order to keep ypu guys going, and not mess up my sleep all that much, I resign. :|

Good luck with the mock friends! Keep up the good work (not to mention the speed )
    Forgive me I'm Swedish!

That's disappointing. Maybe Matt can bring his friend Lil B to take over... oh wait, you didn't take Jake Long #1.

Having mods make a selection for you can easily be avoiding by sending in a top 5. For example Matt just sent me one 20 or so picks before he's OTC.

If that's the way you feel though can't stop you from leaving.

The problem with sending in a top five early is that when I've tried (last mock) all the players on it where gone when it was my turn to pick, and, having the dolphins and having acquired Chris Long and a future LT I can pick pretty much BPA with every pick since all positions are needs (except for RB and maybe QB) which makes it hard to predict whar players will be left when it is time to pick.

I feel kind of guilty to run off on you guys like this, but as of now, I ain't doing no one no good in this draft.

Well, at least you're honest about it and came on here to explain rather than just vanishing and not saying anything. It doesn't help that you live in a completely different country. Have a good'n.
