  • Name That Line - Week 14

Actually, it might be kinda fun to see how far off I am. When you release your picks, I'll add up the aggregate of the differences between my lines and Vegas'.

              Possible multi-unit plays:

Tennessee (+0) over San Diego: Public will pound San Diego, but I sense that the presence of a healthy Hanesworth will be enough to get Rivers throwing more--thus more turnovers.

San Francisco (+8) over Minnesota: Everyone loves Minnesota now after two blowout loses. Most people probably see this spread at 10+. I like the home dog.

Miami (+7) over Buffalo: Buffalo has only won one game by more than 7 this year, and that was against Cincinnati in Week 9.. as an underdog. Add in the fact that Miami just got blown out by the erratic Jets, which means lots of action on Buffalo. I think Miami keeps it close in this divisional matchup.

I'm pretty happy with those. I'm a little surprised that NO is favored at Atlanta as well as the Eagles laying points on the Giants (though with Ward out I'm starting to understand that).

The Giants will have Jacobs back though... Still seems like a shady line to me.

Bengals are -6.5. Seems like a good play.

I actually like the Rams at +7, esp if Bulger is back from la-la land.

As for Jacobs, I'll be sold on him when he rushes 3 consecutive 100 yard games, without getting injured. I've got the feeling that his body is just too damned big not to get beat up all the time.
