  • Todd McShay NFL Mock Version 1.0

Pretty interesting and I love to read mocks where there aren't a lot of cliche picks...but I would love to take this time to criticize Mr. McShay.

First of all, in his first top 10 mock last week he had Sedrick Ellis going to the Jets (which I thought was ridiculous), but now he said that he isn't a good fit as a 2 gap NT...duh.

Secondly, I just don't understand the Bears drafting defense again this year. Malcolm Kelly is on the board. DeSean Jackson is on the board. Sam Baker/Gosder Cherilus/Jeff Otah is on the board. Every runningback but McFadden is on the board. I just don't understand that pick when you can find a very good Tampa 2 safety in round 3 or 4.

I love the Highsmith to Buffalo pick. Really creative and he is a perfect fit in that scheme.

I don't understand how the Saints pass on Malcolm Jenkins for Keith Rivers, personally.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

I'd love to join your critique but I'm not an insider.

That sucks but I suggest look into it. I got a 3 year deal for like $99 with a magazine subscription.

My view on this is that there is so much great free content on the web, why should I pay for more?

I mean it isn't anything great but I like having that NFL Draft content...the scouting reports from Scouts Inc. I love.

Not a big fan of the stuff Mel Kiper puts out as far as his positional rankings, but he puts players on his big board before anyone else does (Jeff Otah, Leodis McKelvin, etc.)...not very accurate imo but its a good read and he is the Godfather of the NFL Draft.

$99 for 3 years sounds like a good deal.
