  • Bush out for the year

New Orleans Offense goes from bad luck, to I want to shoot myself. First RB Deuce McCallister gets off to a slow start before tearing his ACL. At the same time WR Devry Henderson has had a terrible followup to his great season last year. These things hurt both Utility Offensive Player Reggie Bush and QB Drew Brees. Now to make a bad situation worse Reggie Bush is reported to have torn up his knee and be out for the year as well. Whenever New Orleans seems to start to get things together this year things seem to go drastically wrong. A very disappointing end to a good NFL offensive team. I look forward to seeing them with a better Defense and healthy Offense next season.

Maybe this is why the line was dropping.

Doesn't really matter the Saints year was over once they ran that dumb double reverse vs. Tampa.

The Saints are such garbage, I can't believe they're favored.

Saints aren't garbage. I have seen teams have a great year, bad year, then bounce back. They will be fine in the long run.

They have beaten a lot of mediocre teams...I am not impressed with their OL, DTs, LBers, DBs, or even Reggie Bush himself hasn't lived up to that hype.

whatever happened to robert meachem? wasn't he supposed to be such a hot ticket coming out? is he on IR or what because i haven't heard his name at all.
bush never should have been the featured back. after deuce went down they should've gone backfield by committee, utilizing bush where he's actually effective rather than wearing him down like they did. that's on sean payton. wasn't he coach of the year last year?

Sean Payton has kept things so similar this year everyone knows what's coming. Every year things change for every team, even slightly so you can hardly tell. Maybe one or two more runs a game. The Saints have changed nothing and are predictable. That is on the coach aas well as the bad subbing.

Rookie WRers don't usually do well anyways. Give him two more years.

I think the biggest thing for NO is the offensive line. They just aren't as good this year. They don't protect Brees as well, the don't run block as well, and they're making the whole offense worse. That puts pressure on a defense that was and still is garbage.
