    i really like david garrard.
I think coaching can really do wonders--look at aaron rodgers before and after mike mccarthy. heck look at brett favre. look at what mariucci and holmgren did for years in developing pro qbs. if grossman were on a holmgren-mariucci team, he'd be throwing 30-15s every year.
that said, and not having seen him play, footwork is very coachable and if that's flacco's worst attribute, certain teams shouldn't worry too much.

Nah just watch a lot of footage of prospects on youtube and other sites that I can't see on tv.

I'm talking about stepping up and around pressure. Stepping up into the pocket using the seam the OL created...he just seems really flat footed.

Lack of athleticism or bad coaching?

He might end up being the 4th QB taken.

Hmm, as far as being a developmental QB I think it is a good pick Walter. But honestly with as good a showing as Luke McCown had last week, I mean who knows maybe he is our guy.

You don't need to have Carson Palmer tools to play QB in the NFL, you just have to play within the gameplan like a David Garrard does.

Flacco doesn't have the mobility that Gruden loves so he doesn't seem like our type of guy.
