  • Bears have a chance?

Does anyone think the Bears even stand a chance tongiht against Minn?Could they just stack the line of scrimmage and force Tavaris to try to throw the ball or are we doomed?

My guess, they are doomed. If they stack the line of scrimmage Peterson and Taylor will run outside, and since Jackson has stopped giving the ball away when he throws, I see the Vikings winning with a TD or two.
    Forgive me I'm Swedish!

Minnesota is at home in the dome. If it were in Chicago I'd give them a chance due to the weather. Not tonight.

I think we may be due for an inexplicable viking loss. No specific reason why I think they may lose, but theres always a random loss.

This could play out EXACTLY like the Cowboys-Eagles game.

          Overconfident home favorite.
          Double-digit underdog with proud veterans.
          Rivalry where anything can happen.

I have the Vikings winning 20-16, but Bears can definitely win.

i will be watching this game, i hope to GOD the bears win. To be honest i think they do stand a chance, tarvis jackson is playing over his head right now and as long as orton limits his mistakes they should be ok.

What concerns me here is that the Bears are out of the playoffs, the Vikes are in the wild card race, and I think that sometimes teams quit when coach decides to start the third stringer at QB. If the other players basically think that the coach is preparing for next year instead of trying to do whatever he can to win every game, then why should they give 100%? I'm being Devil's advocate here, because I normally like to take points, but I don't want to bet on another Atlanta here...

The Bears are a proud team, not like the dead Falcons. Think of Chicago like Philly.

And the Vikings may choke. They're such a young team.

I sort of agree, but the Vikings right now are streets ahead of the Bears. The Bears can't do anything on offense and their secondary is putrid.

Mike, I would have said the same thing about the Eagles prior to Sunday.
