  • This upcoming draft class.....

For me there are some really weak positions such as G, C, TE, S and some really strong areas such as RB, OT while areas such as WR and CB have the usual decent overall depth.

How would you rank the prospects in comparison with previous classes?

I think you nailed it with those positions. I can't remember such a great WR prospect class coming out in a long time. Same with OT and CB...

Tight end, interior line and safety are very weak.

I actually very much disagree about TE being a weakness in this draft class.

Carlson and Davis can be round 1 prospects. Guys like Jacob Tamme and Martin Rucker have outstanding receiving skills and can be great players in the right system. Kellen Davis has great physical tools and will be a good mid round pick for someone.

List goes on and on for people I haven't mentioned. It's not great but it isn't weak, either. Average is the word.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

Compared to past years, if Mack committs this will be a strong center class.

I am really high on Lichensteiger. Pollack is very athletic. Justice can be a great ZBS center and I love what I saw out of Eric Scott last year. Cody Wallace had a great bowl game as well.

          I don't like Carlson.

Last year was classed as a weak TE class and 2 TEs went within the first 35 picks, from what I read Davis is the only one with a good chance of that this coming draft.

Is Mack really any better than Ryan Kalil?

Mack is going to be the best center prospect in my opinion since LeCharles Bentler...and when Kristor O'Dowd comes out he just might be the best center prospect ever.

Kalil was a very overrated prospect who could only fit the ZBS team and the wrong team drafted him.

It was a weak TE class. The Raiders reached for Miller somewhat, and the scouts weren't so high on Olsen so he fell.

It was a below average TE class last year. Not a lot of depth to speak of.

                      Kristor O'Dowd? Who he

I think Mack is a better prospect than Mangold.

O'Dowd is a true freshman for USC. He suffered a knee injury not sure if he has come back from it yet or not. He played absolutely amazing and has scouts drooling with his size (6'4 305), strength, and athleticism. Some say he could be the best center prospect of all time and end up being a top 16 pick.
