...the judge orders a 12 month prison sentence for Michael Vick (based on what we have heard from the legal experts...just a hypothetical).

How long does Goddell suspend Vick for? Is the year long sentence part of teh ban?

If I were Goddell, then I would give Vick a two year ban, which included the year Vick is in jail. It sounds more harsh than a one year ban just when Vick has his freedom, so it makes the NFL look better to PETA.

Even so, I really don't see Vick ever playing the NFL again. He is too much of a PR nightmare, and he isn't that good of a QB. Very talented player yes, but he isn't a proven QB.

I'd love to see a lifetime ban, but I don't think it'll happen.

I could see a one-year ban, which will knock Vick out of the league until 2010.

But you're right, I don't see him playing in the NFL again. No one's going to give him a chance unless he completely turns his life around. I don't think he's capable of doing so.

If I was him I would give him 2 years on top of the 1 in jail.
