  • Josh Johnson

What do you all think of him? I personally like him as a sleeper pick with major potential.

Certainly is athletic...I have never seen him play so I have no idea how strong his arm is.

Coming from really weak competition and I am assuming a very pass oriented offense he will need a while to adjust to the NFL and a WCO.

I don't think anyone will take him until the 5th round...then again I said that about Tavaris Jackson.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

Wouldn't his arm have to be strong to throw in the San Diego winds?

I think he means that the winds are always blowing in San Diego

Yeah I know, just didn't know San Diego was a windy city.

Ok after watching the shrine bowl I decided to come back and find this thread. I think Johnson will be a very very good pro and at least a late 3rd round pick

I watched him in the Shrine Bowl and wasn't impressed. He has below average arm strength and very very poor footwork.

He needs 2 years on the bench to develop.

His footwork wasn't that bad I thought. He made good decisions and put the right touch on the throws. His throws were almost always on the money.

It was pretty bad...he has potential and upside I don't deny that but he needs 2-3 years on the bench to develop.

Matt earlier you said he'd need to adjust to a WCO. Im pretty sure they said during the Shrine Bowl that the offense he ran at San Diego was a WCO. Another thing that I think benefits him is that he had Jim Harbaugh as a coach for 3 years
