  • Mock Draft Contest

You guys should have a mock draft contest based on some sort of points system to see who comes closest. The winner gets a big cyber pat on the back or free membership to Walter’s future magazine. Seems pretty complicated now that I think about it.

I'll run it. Same thing like the ESPN Hummer Contest last year, I remember all the rules. (I finished in the 92nd percentile in that contest...Atlanta passing on Okoye for Anderson ****ed it up for me).

Wish I would have won that Hummer...woulda sold that immediately. Nothing like another 50k in the bank. (Woulda went to Mobile, AL this year for the Senior Bowl)
    2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats (38-1)

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

Okay, of the rules I remember, everybody submits their Top 16 draft picks.

It doesn't matter what team picks the player, it is all dependent of where the player is selected.

If say Sedrick Ellis is picked 6th and you have him at #6 then you get 3 points.
If Ellis is picked 6th and you have him at #7 then you get 2 points....at #8 then 1 point and at #9 then 0 points...it goes the other way too. If you predicted he would be picked 4th then you get 1 point.

              Most points wins.

Oh we won't start this until 2-3 weeks before the draft.

Trust me there will be plenty of variance with the top 16 picks. Plus there is less of a chance for errors to be made in the scoring. We are doing it the way ESPN does it and that is final.
