        Holtlz is an lol donkament.

Anyways, here is my top 3.

        1. LSU
        2. USC
        3. Oklahoma

I was worried about LSU's passing game and lack of depth at the WR position outside of Doucet. Brandon LaFell and Co. stepped up vs. an athletic Virginia Tech.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

Brandon LaFell looked great. I'd still put USC No. 1 but it's close.

The guy on this UK radio show said USC looked unimpressive vs. Idaho, but I don't know what to think of them because I haven't seen them play and they haven't beaten a talented team.

40 USC - 25 LSU in AP first place votes.

I don't know why everyone is so enamored with SC being #1. Honestly, if they don't have their past success I don't think they are the #1 by the pollers.

Well, I think they have the better team and better QB, that's why. USC may have looked unimpressive vs. Idaho, but LSU looked equally unimpressive vs. Miss. St.

                    ????????????

MSU played a great game defensively. Any offense would have struggled in that game. Give credit where credit is due.

And now we know Brandon LaFell is ready to step up based on his performance vs. VT.

To say LSU looked unimpressive doesn't make any sense to me. Their defense was still dominant, and their offense played against a very good defense.

Their offense looked terrible against Mississippi State. C'mon. I don't think USC would have struggled in that game. No credit is due.

LOL, you are in for a shocker then Walter for the Nebraska game. It is gonna come down to the last few minues. IDK if Nebraska will win, I could see them winning that game, but I don't think it will be a USC blowout

Walter, as much as you criticize ESPN, you all are too much alike.

Too much emphasis on offense, not enough emphasis on defense.

And even with the emphasis on offense, that MSU defense is underrated. They are fast and they play bigger than their size.

Plus, it was Matt Flynn's first start ina long time. It is gonna take time to grease those wheels.

And then look what LSU did vs. Virginia Tech. Feel free to eat your crow walte.r

Feel free to eat crow? Virginia Tech sucks. I said so in my write-up. I called for a blowout in my college picks. LSU's demolition of the Hokies did nothing for me. In fact, if the game were close and the Tigers won, I would have dropped them in my rankings.

Plus, it was Matt Flynn's first start ina long time. It is gonna take time to grease those wheels.
Exactly. Flynn is inexperienced. John David Booty, who started last year, would have had no problem scoring on MSU's suddenly overrated (on this message board) defense.

Um, didn't Booty struggle a little bit vs. Idaho?

Also, Virginia Tech still has a very very very good defense. Their offense might be crap, but they still have one of the best defenses in the country.
