  • Green, Booker, and 7 more cut by Dolphins.

The Dolphins cut nine players on Monday, including quarterback Trent Green and wide receiver Marty Booker.

Really surprised Keith Traylor and LJ Shelton were also cut.
    2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats (38-1)

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

I'm not. Good to see the Dolphins getting rid of old washed up guys who will not get any better.

Surprising, especially since we aren't in June.

Only Shelton was surprising to me. They still need a solid O-Tackle. Unless they plan on drafting one early they are even worse off now than they were before.

Shelton will hit 32 this year. Hes not got a long term future with the team, no point in keeping him if hes gonna demand starter money as hes only useful for helping the youngsters along the way from now on a team like the Dolphins.

Should get a job as a backup at the very least somewhere on a decent team.

Agreed. Veterans won't do much to turn around a 1-15 team. You need new chemistry.

Hopefully Green will take the hint and retire.

so what do you all think.... is Beck the QB of the future, or are they going to use an early pick on a QB this April?

No one can provide a correct answer to this question...period. We will just have to wait and see. No one knows if Ireland, Sparano, and/or Parcells like him. We will just have to wait for the Draft or if they trade Beck to see.

Beck is young and was a Typical NFL Rookie. Give him a year or two in a system.

Doesn't everyone play in a system?

They did seem to get rid of a lot of OT and DTs. So, back to Dorsey or Jake Long?

So, after getting rid of Marty Booker the only two WR's left on the roster are Ginn Jr and that guy who caught the game winning toudhdown, right?
