He is a great run stuffer and that is what the steelers need. All of the steelers lineman are getting old...time for an upgrade.

I considered brandon flowers but i think he will be taken by this selection. Patrick lee is a great hitter and has good change of direction.

Anthony smith stunk this year and tyrone carter can't be in coverage.

He is fast and great in the power running game.

It was good. I think they may want to upgrade their O-Line sooner than Round 3 however.

I have a feeling Merling won't make it that far. I just think his stock is gonna rise in the next few weeks.

If the Jets trade back with say the Lions for some reason, I wouldn't mind them taking Merling at 15. Seems like a great fit as a 3-4 DE.
