  • James Hasty: Rex Grossman Better than Derek Anderson

Now I am not the biggest supporter of Quarterback Derek Anderson but I do know that as long as he has weapons he can be decent. How James Hasty of NFL Live can say Quarterback Rex Grossman is the Bears best option for a reliable quarterback next season is rediculous. However he said Grossman is better than any other options which includes Anderson and many other quarterbacks in Free Agency and The 2008 NFL Draft. Rediculous.

Welllll...he has the tools...just needs to get his head right. Once/if he ever gets his mind on football...he could be good. But we've been waiting on that for how long now?

Seriously, so many people could be good enough, the question is are they willing to give the effort?

I saw our best bet is to draft one. Forget about Rex and try to start over. Have Orton start for us this year and have the rookie as a backup..... Ryan will go to high and I'm not sure if I'm solf on Brohm so Woodson???

Personally, I think Brohm is more reliable than Woodson, so he'd be my pick

Look, Grossman has to go. If I'm the Bears, I'd sign Cleo Lemon to a short term deal, let him hold down the fort, and draft a QB in the first. Let Lemon play until the rookie is ready to play.

I'm really looking forward to my future blogs. I am going to address a lot of situations and I'm really going to put my foot down on what these teams should do.

Tonight I am plan on having 2 different blog updates! The first is a complete combine preview/predictions. The second is I break down the top 5 picks now that they are set.
                    2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats (38-1)

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

I agree the Bears are better off with Grossman than signing Anderson. In no way do I think Gross is better than Anderson. I would prefer signing Gross to a 2 year 8 mil deal, instead of spending a 1st and 3rd for Anderson and then giving him $50 mil.

My vote is for Anderson. Gross has never been consistant, but he has.

I wouldn't go that far, Andersons had one good year, he could just be another Kurt Warner
