Denver pushes for Shaun Rogers

According to KFFL, Denver and Detroit are in deep talks about a trade involving Shaun Rogers. A deal could reported be reached as early as tommorow.

No word on any terms other than the teams and Shaun Rogers. My guess would be since rumors were flying that they were getting alotr of fourth round offers that Denver upped it to a third or are trying to throw in a player to finalize the deal.

Denver doesn't have a third round choice. Unless the lions are willing to take a 09 third.

The reason the Lions are in a rush to make this deal is that Rogers is due a $1 million roster bonus on March 1. If they don't get max value for him for the sake of money, I'm going to be pretty pissed.
