Inconsistencies leave me wanting more from what I saw of him in games ... doesn't make your jaw drop on the field so I question his love for the game ... or maybe he just isn't that good to begin with.

Additional Comments: Big, athletic safety who can cover a lot of space. The leader of Arizona State?s defense. Can play near the line or in deep coverage. May be the best overall safety in this year?s draft. Great character. Biggest downside is a history of nagging injuries that slowed him down.Should be a good but not great starter at the next level. Has likely reached his ceiling. Excels at blanketing tight ends and is a quality player versus the run. Played in a quarters defense, which allowed him to roam and control a small zone.
Injury Concerns: Teams may want to thoroughly check Barrett's health. Played first half of his senior season with a pectoral muscle injury and a quad contusion, which limited his production. Missed the second half of the Hawaii Bowl as a junior, which caused the Arizona State defense to go into a tailspin.
Could Be As Good As: Adrian Wilson, Arizona Cardinals
