Javon Walker to Raider Al Davis = Idiot

Raiders agreed to terms with Javon Walker on a six-year, $55 million contract, with $16 million guaranteed according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter. He'll make $27 million in the first three years.

"Al Davis has lost his mind. Even Walker's old coach Mike Shanahan said the receiver eventually needed microfracture surgery on his chronically sore knee. I like what the Raiders are doing to an extent. There bringing in a real good football player at any cost. lol. But no one wants to play for the Raiders and they need to change that and if signing him at this huge price could help them down the road to obtain other FA maybe it will be worth it.

I like what the Raiders are doing to an extent. There bringing in a real good football player at any cost. lol. But no one wants to play for the Raiders and they need to change that and if signing him at this huge price could help them down the road to obtain other FA maybe it will be worth it.

Uh, I know it is fashionable to beat up on the Raiders, but allow me to break up this monkey read, monkey talk session. The Raiders were is dire need of a TRUE #1 WR, and that is what Walker is. Outside of Curry, who is not a #1, we have NOBODY! Get it? Because the Raiders have been so bad, they have had to overpay to an extent to actually get free agents. And by the way, Walker deal is backloaded. If Al wasn't able to bring in all these under 30 studs, you'd be criticizing him for doing nothing to improve a bad thing. All in all, I like what the Raiders have done this off season. And wait until we add McFadden and Desean Jackson!
