  • Gholston #2? Scott Wright thinks so

Walter was THE first with Gholston #2 ... Did Steuber copy him? Interesting anyways and I truly think I'm going to address this in my blog that Walter was the first person with Gholston #2 not Chris Steuber.

I still think the Rams get the best value with Dorsey or Ellis at #2 because of the premium on DTs in this league and I'm not sold on Gholston to hold up vs. the run and if you are drafting a DE #2 overall he had better be an all around great player. I don't see it in Gholston. Very good DE prospect but not a 5 star elite player like Dorsey. Great DTs in the draft are RARE.

Walter's logic is Gholston plays as a 3-4 hybrid LB and not a 4-3 RDE like Wright suggests in his blog. Difference in logic there.

Once again, major props to Walter he was the first and he created the bandwagon, but I'm not on it .... yet

Thanks for the props Matt, but I think everyone gets ideas from everyone else. I got the Chris Long No. 1 idea from you, and who knows, maybe more people will have Dre Moore in the first round soon.

I didn't have a problem with very many of the specific pics...they could be considered opinions, and who am I to say whether somebody is a better fit for a team than somebody else...that's Matt and Walter's job.

The one thing I did have a MAJOR issue with is the projected trade back into the first round for Brohm by the Dolphins. This trade makes absolutely no sense for Miami. First, Parcells knows that they need as many bodies as possible to fill out this dwindling roster, so giving up any picks is unlikely...they'd be more likely to trade down to gain picks in my opinion. Second, trading up to get Brohm doesn't sit well with me as it's been widely reported that he could slip into the second round anyway since he didn't distance himself from some other notable QB's at the combine, so why trade up to get him when you could sit tight, get him with the 33rd pick and still have your 3rd round pick? All in all the trade just didn't make any sense for the Dolphins.

I agree 100% DAK, but he did it because he has a man crush on Brian Brohm...he said he thinks Brohm is the top QB in this class.

Hmmm, so why don't you have Parcells trading up to get Woodson? LOL, sorry man couldn't help it.
